This book builds upon all of the lessons and practices contained in the AYP Vol 1 book, which is by far the most valuable book I own. These books contain the most effective and easy to learn spiritual practices that I have ever come across. It provides a complete system of spiritual practices, that anyone can incorporate into their life. Believe me, if I was able to do it, anyone can. Yogani has a gift for presenting all of this information in a way that is both a joy to read and easy to understand.

The lessons in this book have literally changed my life. It has brought me an abiding peace that is present regardless of what may be going on in my life. It is true freedom. For the first time on my spiritual path I have actually gotten a taste of the divine, of the happiness and bliss that comes with experiencing the inner silence that is in each one of us. And this book (along with Vol 1) was my instruction manual for how to get there.

For anyone who wants to experience increasing peace, happiness, patience, love in your life, this book can show you the way. Sound too good to be true? I can tell you from direct experience that this book delivers on everything it promises.

I highly recommend it to anyone interested in true spiritual transformation.

In a good spiritual path, you need to have techniques that will not only get your body/mind ready to experience bliss and ecstasy and stillness, but also techniques to transcend the mind and use the the stillness and energy cultivated in practices to move higher in our spiritual journey.

Yogani has 2 volumes of "Easy Lessons For Ecstatic Living" books available. The first one is a book providing instruction in the core yoga techniques that can be used to bring the body/mind to a state of readiness for higher spiritual techniques. These include deep meditation, spinal breathing pranayama, asanas, mudras, bandhas, tantric sexual methods, samyama and others.

The second volume covers:

1) Many techniques to use the stillness cultivated through the basic yoga techniques in prayer, self inquiry, and other practical applications.

2) Many other enhancements to make the basic techniques taught in the first volume more effective.

3) Volume 2 also expands and gives details on the shatkarma techniques that were only introduced in the first volume.

4) Additional explanations on physical and psychological experiences that are brought on by an active kundalini, and how to manage them. The functions of soma, amrita and ojas are explained

5) The various stages of the mind and how and when to engage in self inquiry

I would highly recommend getting this book if you want to develop the advanced stages of spiritual development. The two AYP Volumes cover a lot of information that you may finally have to buy many books to get, and in some cases not find anywhere else in writing.

The book is the sequel to what I think is the most informative, no-nonsense easy to read guide of spiritual practices on the market. ...and there are a lot. Yoganis lessons are systematic, tried and tested and so clear and easy that anyone can read them and understand them (no sanskrit lessons required and no ambiguous symbology), however if you are new to this system I would recommend you first purchase volume one as the lessons build on each other. Yoganini cuts out all the crap, this is the creme de la creme of Yoga practices! enjoy
