This historic book may have numerous typos and missing text. Purchasers can download a free scanned copy of the original book (without typos) from the publisher. Not indexed. Not illustrated. 1913. Excerpt: ... List of coal claims in Alaska upon which final payment or purchase price has been made and final receipt issued--Continued. There are 143 of those claims. I do not want to interrupt you too much, but do you mean that those claims were passed on in the General Land Office, as you said, or in the local land office where the proof was offered? Mr. Wickersham. Probably in the local land office, but that is a part of the General Land Office, of course. The bill which I introduced is H. R. 2S407. and we have read it so many times that it is not necessary fo...
