I would not say a word about the stories. Everything had been already said.
I will say a few words about the edition.
Not expensiv, beyond doubt, interactive index, BUT:
In some places of "The memoirs of Sherlock Holmes" the font size changes oddly several times
Several paragraphs from "The adventure of the cardboard box" had been meddled in "The resident patient", fact that amazed me until I finally discovered it!!
In "The return of Sherlock Holmes" the first story is not "The adventure of the empty house" as is usual. Instead is "The adventure of the abbey grange" the first one. So if you are reading the stories for the first time you will be very surprised, I assure you!!
On the other hand, I myself should be more than willing to pay more for an edition including ALL the original illustrations that appeared in the original magazines

La mejor lectura detectivesca en la que las tramas son son siempre coherentes, sin perder jamás la intriga. Los amantes de la época victoriana no debe dejar de leerlo, ya que sumerge al lector en ella gracias al detalle de su costumbrismo.

If you want a complete collection of Sherlock Holmes for the Kindle at a low, low, price, get this. Some of the best stories, period.

Now, for the not so great things. The font size is one larger than every other Kindle book I have. Why, I have no idea, but I have to change my font size when I go to it, and then when I switch to another book.

The Table of Contents - it does work, but not all of the stories are separately listed. The Last Bow collection, for example, the separate stories aren't in the TOC, so you have to start with Wisteria Lodge, and have to page through to find the story you want, unless you know the location number. Still, the majority of the stories are listed in the TOC - just strange to me that they didn't list all of them.

However, these are minor quibbles. It is a great collection with some illustrations, not the Paget ones, unfortunately, I think, but for a great deal for a low, low, price. There is a Paget profile of Holmes, that I don't recognize.

The non-Holmes stories are interesting - some are quite predictable, but the flying one was really odd.

I am amazed that no one, absolutely no one has mentioned that this item has several mistakes. There are typos, punctuation errors, formatting errors, and errors in the table of contents and even in the order of some of the stories. One of the short story collections, "The Return of Sherlock Holmes," has the stories arranged in alphabetical order, rather than the proper order, which is something one can observe by simply reviewing the TOC included on this Amazon page. (Plus this particular section should really be in true order, as "The Adventure of the Empty House" is the one which is first, bringing Holmes back, after his supposed death.)

If I am going to pay anything for any Kindle item, I expect it to be done better than the free Kindle classics. I was comparing one of the sections in this item to the free version of that section available on Amazon, The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, and the free version was more accurate.

A nu.ber of readers who are obviously not experienced Sherlockians have written complaints about the Study in Scarlet suddenly switching to a different story called "The Book of Morman." It's not a different story. It's part of A Study in Scarlet.

Book 2 of the story is a "flashback" section that goes back and explains why the killer committed the murders. After you've finished reading that section, the story returns to the main narrative and you learn how everything turns out. It's the way the story is supposed to go, it's not a publishing error. Relax and enjoy the wonderful story.

Trust me. I'm a 50-year-old college professor, I first read this story when I was 10, I own 3 hardcopy editions and 4 electronic editions of the story. I have read all of Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes stories more times than I can count. I know what I'm talking about.
