This ebook would be useful to anyone thinking about pursuing a career in GIS. Todd Schuble writes clearly and effectivly. This is an easy read and will leave you with more time to actually look for a job. The advice is sound and helpful, too, with actual strategies to find a position instead of vague suggestions.

For the price, this book packs a punch. Buy this one before investing in a more expensive and less clear book.

I'm weeks away from graduating college and I've been worried since I still don't have a job lined up. I got a hold of this book and read it right away. It took me like 45 minutes to get through it. The writing is simple which is a nice change from all the technical stuff I've had the last 4 years. I'm now really hopeful for my prospects. It really lit a fire underneath me and showed me where I was going wrong in my job search and definitely had some valuable advice on WHAT I should be doing and HOW I should be doing it. I realized I still had a lot to learn since there's a lot they don't teach you in school, espeically not at mine. I know I have the skills to be successful but my approach to getting a job was all wrong. I'm really happy I picked this up.
