I suggest that you master the basics of flying Condor before moving on to chapter 2 of this book. Otherwise you might get overloaded and frustrated. Take your time.
The hard copy of this book includes a companion CD that contains some very useful files. The author provided the following link to download the companion CD files

The images in the e-book are very low resolution. You can download higher resolution images to your PC or laptop and using something like Picasa, view them at a high magnification next to the text of the e-book in the Kindle PC App.
Content of the book is excellent. If you fly real gliders, you will want to hook up a PDA (aka tablet) to take the NMEA output from the Condor program and display it in a program like XCSoar. That way you can practice using your PDA before you leave the ground.
