Descripción del producto

Descripción del producto

As the world economy emerges from the Great Recession, 2011 will prove to be vital as companies seek to internalize key lessons and build new management disciplines that enable Intelligent Growth. In Executive Guidance for 2011, the Corporate Executive Board (CEB) looked at the differentiating factors of companies that consistently outperformed peers coming out of periods of economic turmoil. CEB’s findings brought a new sense of urgency: Successful companies operated very differently in the early stages of economic recovery, which is exactly the period that companies are planning against right now. Before you finalize your budgets, goals, and strategies for 2011, order your copy of CEB’s research to learn how to achieve Intelligent Growth for your company.

This "book" has extraneous symbols in the beginning.
It focuses on four management disciples necessary to achieve intelligent growths and divides it to the following four concepts:
~Customer experience innovation
~Key talent engagement
~Risk vigilance
~Permanent cost and capital management
There are one or two pointers under each concept, which are then fleshed out a bit with charts and activities. It basically reviews the results of a survey. There are some good ideas for growth.

I can't really see the point or value in this very short product.

If it is meant to showcase the worth of the corporate executive board then it does a very bad job.

This basically consists of a few graphs and a lot of meaningless management speak. There doesn't really seem to be any evidence to back up their claims.

It is often hard to understand exactly what they are talking about. There is hardly any useful content. This is one of the worst examples of management jargon that I have come across. It almost seems like a parody. It is pretty well produced and professionally put together.

From looking at the website they appear to be a legitimate organisation but if they put their name to this report I doubt that they will be getting much new business.

This is the second product from them that I have downloaded and it is all a bit strange. What are they hoping to achieve?
