Descripción del producto

Worldwide, business faces daunting challenges. Competition in every industry is increasingly hostile. The operating environment is increasingly complex. And the cost of missteps and lost opportunities is rising. In this new arena, strategic planning is more important than ever and the ability to turn plans into action - fast - is critical to success. Yet most management tools were designed for a different age, and most change efforts fail.Making Sense of Strategy is a handbook for every business person in the new century. It provides a proven, practical way to think about what’s happening around you and to create an effective strategy for the future. 5.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas The 20 Strategy Questions are truly worth the price of this wonderful book! 9 de octubre de 2007
Por Lee Say Keng - Publicado en Amazon.com
Formato:Tapa blanda
In a nut shell, this is definitely a snappy guide to strategy formulation.

I reckon the 20 Strategy Questions are truly worth the entire price of this wonderful book.

The author's principal premise is that organisations are essentially managed strategic conversations. "Nourishing strategic conversations is a vital key to organisational &/or business success", the author asserts.

With the 20 well-crafted Strategy Questions, you are ready to make quick, informed choices (also, to win votes & build capabilities) through strategic conversations encompassing all the critical issues affecting the running of a successful business.

The author comes with an impeccable record as an independent consultant in strategic change management. His writing style is clear & succinct.

His book has just 95 pages, but it packs all the punch you need for strategising in turbulent times.

Fast and as described. Packaging was good and book was informative. I would purchase from this seller again if they had something I was looking for.
5.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas The only book on strategy you may ever need 12 de julio de 2012
Por Kransdrift - Publicado en Amazon.com
Formato:Versión Kindle|Compra verificada por Amazon
This book is pertinent, concise and easy to understand. It is free of waffle and conceit, it does not set itself up as a learned tome with multiple references and difficult syntax. It is one of the very few management books which has inspired me to stay totally focussed on the message, to voluntarily refer back to some sections in order to maintain clarity of understanding and finally to actually apply it to my business. A word of warning. The book is easy to understand, to actually apply the principles in it is tough. But the rewards in improved business will justify the hard work. Money well spent.
