Gmina IgoÅ‚omia-WawrzeÅ„czyce is a rural gmina (administrative district) in KrakÃ³w County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland. Its seat is the village of WawrzeÅ„czyce, which lies approximately 29 kilometres (18 mi) east of the regional capital KrakÃ³w. The gmina covers an area of 62.59 square kilometres (24.2 sq mi), and as of 2006 its total population is 7,661. KrakÃ³w County (Polish: powiat krakowski) is a unit of territorial administration and local government (powiat) in Lesser Poland Voivodeship, southern Poland. It came into being on January 1, 1999, as a result of the Polish local government reforms passed in 1998. Its administrative seat is the city of KrakÃ³w, although the city is not part of the county (it constitutes a separate city county).
