Devastating ending for young children. 9 de abril de 2014
Por topsyturvyworld - Publicado en Amazon.com
I don't know who thought this book was a good idea. Tab, the cat and Mac, the rat are friends. Tab gets mad at Mac for eating his ham and then Mac suddenly disappears with only his hat left on the floor. Tab is crying and is called a bad cat. The end. REALLY!?! A child's book should be either fantasy, tab and mac are friends or realistic, cats eat mice and birds. It should NOT be a mix of the two.

I've used this in my first grade classroom and with my son. It was the best tool for my struggling readers and to reinforce phonics concepts for the on-level students.
The comprehension workbooks are great. Each story gets two pages of questions that are simply stated so that the students can complete the pages with minimum assistance. They were a wonderful confidence booster, and ensured that they understood the stories. I always had them write down the pages where they found the answers as part of their work. It worked like a charm.

This workbook is meant to be used with Set 1 of the Decodable books. I am using it with a Kindergartner and she is loving it. She just started Kindergarten in September and she is already reading!!
