As a young professional just entering the IOP realm, I found it accessible and immediately applicable to my current position. The book addresses several key areas of leadership development (personal development plans, mentoring, leaving a legacy, etc.) in short, easy-to-digest chapters that are self-contained and can be read from first to last or randomly as topics are applicable to your interests. This work is captivating enough for the advanced HR/IOP professional, yet palatable for the line manager as well.
