The Redfield Farm has held me captivated for two days. I had no idea my ancesters were so involved in this incredible journey of the underground railroad. The author tells a story that educates and keeps you on the edge of your seat as Judith Redline Coopey has done in her work. This book has changed my total perception of history. History, romance, tears, adventure and laughter. I am proud to be of the Quaker decent and how this author Judith Redline Coopey depicts life in the mid 1800's, in central Pa, so clearly, like you were there, and understand what this all means to history,so forgotten today. As a born and raised Central Pennsylvanian, who moved to the south many years ago, I find this book incredibly enlightening and moving..
