Phillip Dreck has two problems. 1 - he's addicted to pain meds and has been for some time. Which means he's developed some mental problems--namely, paranoia. 2 - Someone has replaced his family with exact look-a-likes.
Both these problems are real. They don't negate one another, as anyone would assume. But how can he prove it--to himself or to anyone else? And once he does prove it, what can he do about it?
