In this shocking tale of survival, hope, redemption and some may say grace debuted by Yona Brush, we the readers find ourselves trying to understand a side of humanity that is unforgivable to the core, yet an ambition to survive a world that felt so lonely only to seek acceptance, love and family. This book is a journey of self-discovery, a rooted awakening that will keeping you wondering how can one take on this much and yet have the strength and faith to carry on.

I found myself completely enchanted by the journey, just when I thought finally- peace at last another shocking revelation and the plot is thicken. This book is definitely a page-turner - you will not be disappointed but wondering what is next.

3.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Informative, yet difficult, confusing read 5 de agosto de 2014

The most informative part of the book was to get an inside look at life in Israel. I did not realize how the Jews and Muslims live right amongst each other. Intriguing covert operations were hinted at, but not confirmed. When the author sought help for literally knock-your-teeth-out beatings from her husband, she was told, "You married an Arab!" Certainly shows the utter depravity of man. Her salvation testimony is less clear.
Confusing and hard to read - especially her thoughts mingled in with the story. I could not at all identify with this woman, and the book was not inspiring to me, but a friend of mine who grew up in an abusive home recommended it.
