Beast Hunters Bumblebee is another great one!Bumblebee has gone primal in the series with more weapons and a more badass overall look. This version is the same mold as the revealers version and transforms the same as well.Bumblebee has awesome transformers prime series detail and articulation in both modes.Bee has a new animalistic head sculpt which is alot cooler looking along with the spike decor complimenting the figure very well.Bumblebee still comes with double blasters that attach securely on the arms in robot mode and the hood in sports car mode. This version also comes with a firing Eagleshot Bow that comes with 6 missiles that is one quality weapon overall. The poseability is outstanding with great stability for creating cool battle scenes or displaying where you please. The durability is excellent as well with secure ball joint construction and a solid build in robot or sports car mode. The transformation level is intermediate meaning if you have plenty of experience with transformers there is mid-level difficulty. If you are a parent buying for a child of 5-6 you might need to assist some in the process. All parts fit together securely during the transformation for a quality transformer overall. To start off the arms will move forward as the head piece rotates down. This is all done in the same motion and make sure the spikes around the wheels rotate forward so the head piece will lock into place.Next the feet connect together as the roof piece rotates up into place. The arms then rotate back to be underneath palm side up as the feet section rotates up into place to form the back section of the sports car.The doors rotate in as the missile attachments rotate up.The Eagleshot Bow attaches securely to the roof as the double blasters attach on the hood.Bumblebee is now ready to roll out.The is a all around excellent version that has a versatile transformation for most ages and is a great addition for any fan or collector.Bottom line Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Bumblebee is a well-made,high quality,10 out of 10 transformer all fans and collectors will enjoy.I highly recommend Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Bumblebee to all transformer fans and collectors out there.Bumblebee Rocks and Transformers Rule!!!

Now this is a Bumblebee that I didn't see coming. Simply put, a tremendous improvement. However I did find one flaw. Read on to see how this Bumblebee kicks the RID version's tailpipe.

Vehicle mode: Bumblebee still transforms into a modified Camaro/Crysler 300 mix. Albeit the new Cybertronian armor. I love his look in vehicle mode without the armor anyway. But the armor adds a more beefed up look as well as putting Bumblebee reasonably in scale with Lazerback. The weapons are pretty darn cool looking. Bumblebee does include a pair of his RID blasters that can still attach to the hood/engine block. Granted this is pretty much the same mold buts it's also just that different too. Parents I would take caution with the spikeyness on the bumpers as they are not made of soft plastic.Unlike the other 3 wave one figures released Bumblebee doesn't have any problem holding together. In fact this version holds together better than the RID version. Rolls great. My last thing about vehicle that is a very minor inconvinience is the metal screws that held the tires on on the rid version is now a plastic snap. Yup the wheels are now being snapped on. Even on Wheeljack.

Transformation is Greatly improved. Well not really improved just a couple more steps added which in my opinion makes up for the simplicity or the RID version.parents you may have to help with the shoulders as the tire well now locks in place to heighten the should spikes. For childeren under 5 this may be confusing.
But yeah Im much happier with this Transformation. Now the only thing that hurts this figure. Is the canopy no longer attaches to his back as the rear windshield no longer folds.

Robot Mode. Bumblebee looks like hes ready to take on the cybertronian equivallent of 300 spartans! I love the new look. The paint is simply awesome. Autobot logo is now present. Bumblebees robot mode is all together just simply awesome. Pretty darn good pose ability, and surprising too with the added missles and such. His blasters can still fit on his arms too. But now he has the option of a crossbow now. I really hope to see this Bumbleebee in Beast Hunters but I know it will probably not happen.

Overall a great great and very cool looking addition. Buy him Now!

Cool figure, but...... 30 de septiembre de 2013

This BB is cool looking, and comes well equipped. There was one very odd addition to the three models I went through at some local Wall' stores, he was riddled with what appeared to be a reddish stain smeared throughout his nice yellow paint. It was random where the reddish paint smears were from toy to toy, but focused on his right door and parts of his hood, then speckled s,ears throughout the other various parts of his body. Very sloppy QC if you ask me, someone was up late hittin the pipe and mixed in too much red dye with the white. It may not matter to a child, but to any collector, this is a serious deal breaker. I have no idea how these toys are colored, but my serious best guess would be that the vat that has BB 's color had a faulty "red dye" switch that dripped red after the mix was created, and it just created the splotches as it was poured into the tiny molds for all the parts. Plus, we did experience what another reviewer posted about the head and hood area popping up and not staying down flush in vehicle mode. We took them all back, and are still searching for one without the splotches of red dye all over BB cool yellow, so far no luck.
Still a cool looking transformer, I am not giving up yet, hope to find a "clean" one eventually
UPDATE- 10-05-2013: you can actually see the reddish orange splotches in BBs yellow paint in the pictures provided. Just zoom in on the main photo, and it's all over the hood behind his back, and the other photos you can zoom in and see it on the doors etc. I rest my case, BUT this is still a very cool BB, and I'm not kidding, I will not give up looking for this one, without all the smeared splotches of course, or maybe I might have to settle for as little as possible,.....we'll see.... Still very disappointing poor QC. Made in china of course, so why has that fact been successfully coined as acceptable? Should make you think HARD about who you allow to be your doctor, or dentist, or computer tech when it comes to quality of such a serious nature.

Not the best 'Bee in the hive 19 de agosto de 2013

Beast Hunters Bumblebee is a decent depiction of the Autobot scout, but I feel as though the First Edition one is the best. The orange swirl in the paint gives a boost to the detailed look of him and his transformation is simple and fun. He looks cool in both robot and vehicle modes, and comes with plenty of ammo for his bow weapon. This is a double-edged sword for me, as his vehicle mode seems to get lost, so to speak, under all the clutter that it his weapons and ammo. If you take the arrows off of the doors/wings, huge gaping holes are left behind that you can see daylight through and his bow covers the entire roof in vehicle mode. Unless you are a huge Bumblebee fan and/or trying to collect all of the Beast Hunters set I wouldn't put this figure all that high on your priority list.

Initially i credited the toy with 5 stars, just one week after that its part started wearing, its one hand gone by now, with two back to back cracks on it, its just a show piece. In India, i have bought some 5-6 transformers before, different sizes, different complexity levels, none of them broke, ever!, just the hinges got loose out of extreme use by my son. This one? I must say, i just hate why I ordered this one, that too to India, adding import and shipping cost to it, only to bring a sadness on my son's face.. Whom to claim? No one, sure. But bad, very bad experience... I sulk.
