Hi, I have a my Kindle Touch attach to my Amazon US account, first and foremost, because of the pricing. I read primarily, almost exclusively in english (even tough i`m a spanish native speaker) and to my needs and tastes it makes sense to buy in the US store. And the fact that the currency convertion is so sweet (euros to us dollar), is a mayor plus...i'm buying books like crazy they are so cheap. So it´s definitely an option to consider. There is absolutely zero problem buying books in the Amazon US store with my regular, everyday european credit card (I buy lots and lots of blurays and dvd´s also from them using the same credit card) Just saying... And yes, you have to choose one store over the other. You cannot buy on two different Amazon stores using the same Kindle device (because of the serial number on the device that Amazon uses as a fingerprint of sorts that can only be registered to one account at a time). For example, I will loose my book collection if a decided to make the jump and change my Kindle account from the US store to the UK or ES Amazon stores. I cannot migrate the books I already own to the new account. This is a mayor bummer of the Amazon ecosistem. The only solution so far is to have two Kindles devices, one for each store (note, that you can, on the other hand, have more than one device registered to one single account. I have both my Touch and Fire devices registered in my USA account). However, to me changes stores accounts makes no sense, since I can get the books so damn cheap from the US store I see no reason to make the jump.

Hi! Interesting recommendations!I've an Amazon UK account dated from when Amazon wasn't in SP.I've tried to buy the Shadowland [Kindle Edition], and I got that message:"Kindle titles for your country are not available at Amazon.co.uk.Please shop for Kindle titles at Amazon.es. Have you moved recently?You may change your country on the Manage Your Kindle page." I don't know if the SP catalogue of English books is smaller than the UK one, but what I noticed is that, at least for that book, pricing is almost the same.Kind Regards, Miguel

I donŽt know. I think yes, but I donŽt know. IŽve been trying to buy a book and it seems that itŽs possible. You only need to sign in the british page creating a new account. Good luck.

Hi all,just thinking in buying Kindle. The thing is that I'd like to read books in English as well as in Spanish. The price of kindle in the uk is a bit more expensive the in Spain which is a plus. However, I just read in a previous review that once you buy Kindle in Spain you can not download books through amazon.co.uk. Is that right?Laura

In Science Fiction, I recommend you Kevin J.AndersonŽs space opera " Saga of the seven Suns". Nice and amazing.Good english for basic and begginners.

If you are looking for an interesting kindle book in English, not too difficult but a good read, try Shadowland by C.M.GrayHistorical fantasy and a fantastic story.Shadowland
