This is our 4th Nespresso machine - two one-touch cappuccino machines by De Longhi are in the cemetery, lasting three years or so. Having only had this machine for a couple of weeks, I cannot give a long-term opinion, but the Pixie makes as good espresso and the next one, and the milk frother is top class - a lot better than the De Longhi ever was. The coffee choice offered by Nestle is excellent, and the special coffees that it sells from time to time make life more interesting than it would otherwise be. My wife finds many roasts upset her stomach, so being able to change the bean to one which suits her from the one I like in an instant is ideal. And although many people think that the price of the capsules is too high, really, when one calculates the choice of coffees, ease of use, and relative price of machines (€150 is the price we paid for this one, good espresso machines for cappuccinos are nearing €2000, which is over the top for 2 people I feel), the Nespresso system can hold its own. This machine will make many espressos, but if you want to make cappuccinos for more than 2 people a time, buy another machine.
