I bought this stick bag because it seemed to look fine in the photo, but as soon as I got it, I realized that it would be useless to me. I know this will sound ridiculous but the orientation of the bag is such that you have to carry it on your right shoulder only, if you use the strap. If you carry it on your left shoulder (like I carry all of my bags that have a shoulder strap) the bag has to be upside down.
The other problem that I have is that although the strap looks sturdy, the parts that hook on and attach it to the bag itself are thin plastic and will surely break with time. Why can't they be metal?! I've actually had those parts break on me after a year on two other bags.
I'm disappointed because most stick bags don't have a strap on the spine of the bag anymore like they used to. They all have straps on top of the bag so that it hangs down (kinda like a purse) instead of over the shoulder. I wish someone would just make stick bags like they used to!!! Sturdy and practical. I'm now stuck with something I will not use.

I use this case to carry my taiko drum sticks. I like the bag because it's sturdy and the straps are long enough for me to use as a cross-body (I'm short so it works for me). The outside pocket will hold a wallet, phone, my small hand towel to wipe off perspiration in class, but not a whole lot more. The major drag about this case is that almost every time I unzip the bottom, my bachi (drum) sticks fall out. Wish it had an elastic band to tuck your sticks in so this doesn't keep happening. For the price, it's a minor nuisance -- I just have to be conscious about opening it on a flat surface, it's just that my sticks have fallen out enough so it is worth mentioning. I'm considering just sewing in an elastic band myself, but I'm surprised this wasn't part of the design.
4.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Great design, small hardware issue. 29 de septiembre de 2014

I really like this bag and with one small issue I find it to be the best drum stick bag I've ever owned. It's plenty big to hold sticks and mallets as I need. The clear plastic pockets are nice so I can see where I've put different things like a key, felts, etc. and the outer pocket is nice and big to put my wallet and phone in and more. The zippers are sturdy and I really like the handle grip on it as well as the shoulder strap. The issue one reviewer said about the sticks falling out in the bag when it's not turned upright is true and I think I saw the newer model has an elastic band you can slide the sticks up to hold them in place. My only real complaint is about the metal clips to attach the bag to the floor tom aren't that strong. I've had this bag for about 3 years and the metal clips bent then snapped after about 2 1/2 years. I've made due by using the 'D' metal ring that the clips attach to by looping the D rings on to the drum screws and it holds the bag in place well if not securely. It's annoying to me that the clips didn't last longer but the design and sturdiness of the bag itself makes me look past that problem since I have a work around. It's just my opinion but I'm not sure any other bag in this price range would have any better hardware. I would have easily given this bag 5 stars if the metal clips had been stronger.
