5.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Perfect for network cabinets and point of entry panels 27 de junio de 2013

I make sure we always have a boxful of these 2ft's in stock!

Too often am I called in to install an enterprise router or network switch on an already crowded panel or cabinet. First, rarely are surge protectors already being used on existing ISP or Telcom equipment, so we need to add "something" for future protection (Generally we are not worried about the leased equipment itself, yet more about the costly downtime when these devices end up failing/freezing from power fluctuations); Second, most surge strips have 6ft+ power cables which leave a lot of thick cabling to route in tight spaces. We primarily use APC UPS's to protect network equipment (which also makes sure internal & [generally] external communications do not drop in the event of a power failure), and those will always have 6ft+ cables. Regardless, when the client only authorizes basic surge protection we pull these trusty little buggers out purely because of their the short power cord. Due to our positive experiences with APC in both quality & support for over 10 years running, we place their power protection devices in 90% of our projects.

it's apc. it works. i've bought numerous apc broughts (ups and surge proctectors) over the past 2 decades and not one has ever failed. i trust apc's products to perform. for the price that i paid -less than $10, i feel super pleased about this product. i bought a couple these. one replaced a cheap power strip that i bought from home depot that died. that's the last time that i buy a non-apc power strip. if you want more features and perhaps more appealing aesthestics, then buy one their higher priced units. this one's basic reliable protection and that's all i wanted. highly recommended.

update 04/13:
i have bought several more of these and all working great.

No complaints, after having one blow out due to an electrical storm, I ordered 10 of these to protect everything everywhere. A whole house suppressor will not adequately protect delicate items. I called the manufacturer of the WHSP and was told exactly that. I recommend you use surge protectors even if you do have a whole house surge protection system. These will work great and the extra outlets are a bonus.

We bought this surge protector a couple years ago since we needed an extra one to add to another location in our house. It worked great right out of the package and it looks just like what the picture shows. Six devices can comfortably plug into it, but we rarely have all six plugs occupied. We do almost always have at least four plugs occupied though, and it still charges all our devices wonderfully! We have had zero problems with it and I would definitely buy another one if necessary in the future.

I've purchased this for such a bargain price and have been using it a few months and have no problems with it. I am using it for my treadmill. I really love it and would recommend it to anyone looking for a surge protector. I wish it had an indicator button to allow me to know if it was on but it is a minor inconvenience considering the quality and price.
