3.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Good for normal notebooks, not for EC 7 de noviembre de 2016

This punch is easy to use and fits the Knock Out system well. I'm giving it 3 stars only because it didn't work for what I needed. This spiral punch is spaced like a five-star or generic brand normal spiral notebook. I was hoping it would be spaced wide enough for my Erin Condren materials.

3.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas One sheet at a time, please 23 de julio de 2013

As long as you're only punching one sheet of paper at a time (two, if it's copy paper), you'll do fine. Cardstock, definitely one sheet at a time. Chipboard? Good luck.

I was tired of punching holes by hand for spiral bindings, and I didn't want to spend the $150 or more for the paper punches that would do the job. I bought this because of the spiral binding punch included, and figured I'd find a use for the others. I may use them once or twice, but the spiral binding punch is actually too close to the edge and too close together for easy spiral binding - it would work if I make my own wire coil to bind with but not the regular packaged ones. Still, they work alright and would be a good tool for scrapbookers. It just doesn't fit my needs.

Once I figured out how to use these I liked the results. If you're new to this system - practice on some scrap paper first!
It took a few goes to figure out which way round the side pieces fit into the 'wings'. Even though it seems right one way, once you punch a line you'll find out that there's some overlap if it's not assembled correctly.
The border punch makes nice sharp cuts and creates attractive edging for your scrapbook or cards. I'd say this is a cost effective way to own a few different punches, although these cut a slimmer edge than regular punches bought separately - about half an inch deep.

3.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas turn the punch upside down 16 de septiembre de 2016

The printed guides aren't entirely accurate and a bit cumbersome, so I don't bother using them. Instead I flip the punch upside down so I can see exactly where it's going to punch, and use the punch itself as a guide to line things up.
3.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Design fault means wing guides don't fit. 10 de marzo de 2016

After extensive research, I decided on this product as it was the only one that had a zig zag pattern as an option. I purchased the base plate and the zig zag punch separately. They arrived today. The punch itself inserted easily into the base plate. However, when I tried to insert the wing guides, they wouldn't fit! They were about 2mm wider than the ones that came with the base plate! I spent the best part of an hour with a nail file and steak knife filing the edges so they'd fit in the slots! I have e-mailed American Crafts about this design fault so hopefully something gets done about it.
