5.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Worth the money! 11 de enero de 2015

They actually come with 4 total pieces. The second two pieces allow you to use more angling options. I, instead, decided to use them with 2 separate pairs of speakers. They reduce quite a bit of boominess from bassy speakers and make it sound nice and tight. I'm happy.

I bought these to angle down my center channel speaker that is above my TV. I don't like the price but it does exactly what I needed it to.The foam is not cheap like I thought it would be and I liked the fact that the logos on the front are not glued on and can be taken off or moved to the side without leaving any trace. I had to trim the back for a proper fit in my entertainment center. Auralex had a Youtube video explaining the best tool to cut foam with is a electric carving knife you would use for turkey. Much better than other methods I have tried in the past.

I would really love to try out the Auralex ProPAD-XL product on my side speakers but cannot stomach that price for sure.

4.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Seems to be helping- but it's not a stand alone product. 12 de mayo de 2013

These pads are a pretty solid design, I've noticed slightly less table noise and a better low bass control. But these pads alone can't cure room noise, certainly if you have speakers with rear exit ports, if anything it's seems to have exploited the amount of room noise at higher volumes. People have told me the sound leaking is not as severe outside of my office and sounds "cleaner", but the bass from my HS80's is still strong, it will take a lot more sound deadening to clean up the noise in the room. Currently I have my monitors sloped up on the pads and in this direction and level of my desk, it sounds significantly warmer and punchier, while in the downward slope direction, it is colder, more controlled and less sound leak. I can't understand why there is such a significant difference with such a small change in angle but it is noticeable. The Yamaha monitors are known to be extremely directional so thats my guess.

Recommended.

5.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas These isolation pads cured both issues and took the heavy bookshelf speakers like a champ 13 de diciembre de 2016

Fits my Elac B6 Bookshelf speakers perfectly. I placed my speakers on 6ft tall metal cabinets which left me with two challenges. #1 the cabinet will rattle with the speaker bass. #2 because they're up really high, I needed the speakers angled downward. These isolation pads cured both issues and took the heavy bookshelf speakers like a champ. These are double what I wanted to pay but I have no regrets. Most alternatives are too wide and would look funny. Glad I chose these.

I installed these pads today on a couple of bookshelf speakers that were:
1. Enclosed in an actual wooden bookshelf.
2. Aimed too high for optimal listening.
The items fixed both of these problems. The acoustic foam deadened the vibration caused by the enclosure and the angled pads were able to focus the sound toward my ears, not over my head.
I give them only 4 stars because of their initial cost. However, they are by far the least expensive upgrade of my stereo system.
