4.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Great Stroller but….. 11 de enero de 2014

I love my City Mini we bought the stroller after a long deliberation between it and the Bob. The primary reason for the stroller was a family trip we were taking to Disneyland. Well it was great very comfortable for my 2 year old and easily reclines so that she took her naps in the park while we continued to enjoy. However as those that go to Disneyland know you are constantly parking your stroller in the stroller parking for you to enjoy the ride and of course when you park it you lock the breaks. Well after the 5th day in Disneyland our lock started giving us trouble it would take a long time to get it out of the lock position and finally it just broke leaving the stroller in the lock position. I was horrified as we just purchased a $300 stroller and now we have to carry it around to get it to the airport when we leave. I called City Mini and they gave me a couple of makeshift ways to fix it for now till we could get home. Needless to say it didn't work… Long story short in order for me to get it fixed is to do it myself. I had to send in the originally receipt a description of the problem and then they would send me the part… Well hello I don't build strollers for a living so how the heck am I supposed to fix it. It's not a simple fix.

4.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Best stroller we've ever used 23 de abril de 2013

Really well built, super smooth and great for getting baby around! The other reviews of this item are spot-on so I won't cover the same ground they do, except to say that the front wheel issue seems to have been fixed because we haven't experienced it. I will update this review if that changes.

This stroller really is great. I did a lot of research and in-person testing before buying this model, and I can say worh confidence that, to get something better, you'd have to step up to the very expensive bugaboos and they are NOT better enough to justify the several hundred dollar price increase.

I would definitely recommend that you use a lower profile diaper bag or it might not fit in the space under the seat, and that you get the soft cup holder / pocket accessory that attaches to the handle.

Pros: Easy to maneuver and turn with one hand when holding baby and using stroller for shopping bags, quick fold up, no need to fill/change tires and love the adjustable handle. It's great for everyday normal usage.
Cons: Rear wheel base is wider than expected compared to the rest of the stroller which makes narrower passage ways difficult. Wish it came with a cup holder. The storage at the bottom is difficult to access to store a large purse or diaper bag. The window at the top of the canopy has a flap that closes with Velcro...which means it's noisy when you use it to peek in. I just un-Velcro it and fold it under so it isn't noisy if I want to peek in. The tires aren't huge, so if you are going over a lot of rough and bumpy terrain frequently, it does make it more difficult to push than big wheels.
While cons look like they outweigh the pros, I still love the stroller. It's a good size, smaller than some like the Bob and bigger than others. Not sure why you technically can't jog with it, I've jogged and had no issues.

I spent A LOT of time researching strollers. Reading reviews. Watching videos. Our "baby" just turned two and I really didn't want to have to purchase another stroller, but life dictated otherwise. We have recently moved to England from the states and we've been doing a ton of traveling. The two strollers I brought with us, a Chicco Liteway .. my "mall" stroller and a Kolcraft Contours .. my neighborhood/walking/park stroller, weren't working. The Chicco wasn't able to handle cobblestone streets or walking in cities where we'd be navigating sidewalks and then stop at a park and need to push through the grass. And the Kolcraft was just HUGE. A pain on public transit. A nightmare in shops or restaurants. So, I finally settled on the City Mini GT. I couldn't be happier. We just got back from a weekend in London and it is the best stroller for different terrains, easy fold up, pushing with one hand while sipping a coffee. The seat is really cushy, the straps are easy to adjust. The handlebar is also adjustable so both my husband (6') and I (5') can push it comfortably. I did purchase a parent "tray" from a different company which I haven't received yet and the child tray from Baby Jogger (which hits my daughter at mid chest so it's a little awkward ... we actually left it at home this trip). For $350 I feel that these "extras" should come standard. There is a warning that says not to hang anything on the handle and there's a reason for it! When the stroller is fully reclined and you have something hanging from the handle the stroller is VERY tippy. I used stroller straps and attached our diaper bag to the side of the stroller and didn't have any problems with tipping. If the seat is up you can hang a bag on the handle without worrying about tipping. The mesh pockets on the back are nice. I put my cell phone, keys and water bottle in them. The under carriage basket is essentially useless. Even with the cut-away at the back we couldn't fit much in it. We did manage to put a few small shopping bags in from the side, but that's basically it. Also, the seat reclines almost flat and the hood is huge. My daughter took two really good naps in the stroller over the weekend which she never did in the our other strollers. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend it. I only wished I'd purchased it earlier. Really thankful Amazon offers shipping on most items to APO addresses!

3.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Good stroller but... 5 de diciembre de 2013

This stroller is easy to push on a variety of terrain surfaces (gravel, wood planks, concrete sidewalks, brick pavers, grass, weeds, wood chips) has an easy fold and stores compactly in the trunk. After about a year of owning, the brake mechanism failed and I haven't tried to fix it. It was quite handy when it worked though. The seatbelt has always been a problem to work with; just dumb design on the seatbelt, in my opinion. There is little comfort to the straps, and the adjustment process is cumbersome. My Graco has a much easier seatbelt to adjust, and I can do it in seconds as opposed to minutes on this one. If you are looking for one stroller to do everything this is a good buy, but if you only need it for all terrain purposes and not too worried about the compact fold, buy the Bob revolution.
