Muy buenas por el precio que tienen. Para el green tienen el tacto de las bolas pro. En calle haces la distancia habitual.

5.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Good ball flight and spin 20 de febrero de 2013

Nice to see Callaway offer a yellow ball - and get it right (the Titleist yellow looks matte like it belong on a miniature golf course). As for the Hex Chrome, I really like it. I am a 12 handicap, and this has really helped me in two ways. One, I think the ball flight is higher, especially with fairway woods. The ball just climbs. Second, it checks up pretty nicely on my course's 12-stimp greens. I have seen better players use it and it doesn't seem to give them the extreme backwards spin of a ProV1. But for my game, shooting in the mid-80s, I don't think I see enough of a difference at all to justify one over the other. Definitely much better holding greens than the Bridgestone E6 I used as I came down from a mid20 handicap in the last few years. If I am ever to make single digit handicap, I need to be able to hold more greens or have options instead of playing for an extended roll-out with a harder ball. This ball is quickly my new favorite.

I have been hitting Titleist Pro V1 balls for some time, but mainly because I have had a number of dozens of them given to me. I have felt that I am not getting optimal distance from those balls, primarily because my swing speed is average. After some research into a recommended ball for average swing speed, I chose the Callaway Hex Chrome.

I find that I am getting as good, if not better distance than before, but especially find the feel of these much better when hitting approach shots. I plan to stick with these for the time being and am quite happy with them.
4.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas i(x) upgrade? 19 de julio de 2012

When I finally accepted the fact that some balls work much better than others for my swing, I found the Tour i(x) was a great ball for me and I loved the way it stuck when it hit the green [even backed a few up]. Then they stopped making them (why?) and I "assumed" that the i(z) and i(s) would bring some or more of the good things I found in the i(x)....wrong. You can still bang them down range with not much difference, but they don't work right around the green. I recently had a set of irons made and thought that might make a difference with stopping the balls, but so far it doesn't look promising.

I bought a box of Hex Chrome and played with them in an outing yesterday. I don't have the iron distances dialed in yet, but when the ball did hit the green, it stuck. It might be a bit early to make absolute conclusions [there was a little rain before we started], but I have a suspicion I'm going to be selling the unused s & z boxes.

4.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Excellent ball for the price 16 de agosto de 2013

This is my go-to golf ball for the last year or two. It offers 99 percent of the performance of the Hex Black Tour or Pro V1 for about 70 percent of the price. I love the soft feel around the greens.

The only reason you would want a Hex Black or Pro V1 is if you have an insanely high swing speed. For most recreational golfers, these balls hit the sweet spot for price and performance. Highly recommended.
