5.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Camelbak MULE is definitely a great piece of equipment! 14 de febrero de 2015

The 3L CamelBak MULE is one of the best out there. Very minimal, yet big/sturdy enough to hold your water and essetial gear. I bought the black color, and YES it came with the Mil Spec Antidote bladder. The description states it comes with the Omega bladder, but I guess they have since updated the MULE, which is great! It's very easy to open, fill, and maintain. Plus the on/off lever on the bite valve makes things so much easier when roaming around. Also, the cordura fabric is badass. Highly recommend the MULE for a good amount of water/gear, but if you want something a bit smaller than the MULE, check out the Camelbak Ambush (Small disclaimer, the Ambush doesn't have shoulder straps like the MULE, they are not padded.)

4.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Mini go bag 5 de marzo de 2013

I bought this mainly for summer rides on the motorcycle. It is built pretty tough and seems like it could be beat up quite a bit. The water bladder holds 3 liters and is made of a thick, durable material. This bag does not hold very much stuff, but I have packed it with some basic first-aid items, a flashlight, a knife, matches, lighter, firetool (lol redundancy), tinder, and some other assorted items. This is basically my hiking/offroad bag. The only issues I've experienced is that it takes some experimentation to find out the best way to position the hose that works for you. Also, the insulating material around the drinking tube has started to ride down, and I can't really pull it back up with my fingers very easily. So some of the clear drinking tube is exposed. Also, regardless of the insulating material, your first sip of water is going to range from warm to really hot depending on the outside temperature. If you put ice in the water bladder the backpack does a reasonable good job of insulating and keeping it cool so you can have several hours of cold water.

5.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Excellent Quality/Pockets Hold Your Essentials 22 de marzo de 2016

What a solid midsize CamelBak! It holds up to 3 liters of water and features a mil-spec antidote bladder with quick disconnects, a 1/4 turn large mouth fill point, and a insulated hose.

The shoulder straps have a lot of adjustment and feature some decent padding for those making long treks or wearing for extended periods. This does feature a waist strap that is removable and a chest strap that is easily stowed. There are also plenty of tether points along the shoulder straps that make adding goodies pretty easy. One of the only drawbacks is that there is no dedicated clips to hold the drinking tube. Nothing a little adaptation can't solve.

The pockets on the back are pretty nice. Two pockets are on top and are enough to hold your essentials. The pocket on the bottom is nice a roomy with inner pockets inside of it to hold gear. These pockets will get the job done and hold your basic gear with no problems. It will not fit a laptop, but it will fit a small tablet with room to spare.

The fabric and quality of construction is very good and, by all accounts, will hold up for quite a long time. Overall, I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a very solid midsize camelbak at a reasonable price.

5.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Great Bag for on the go. 1 de julio de 2015

I purchased this for my son who is in the Army. The multi-cam finish is great. In the upper compartment could easily hold Leupold Rogue binoculars and with a pair of Camelbak Impact Elite gloves. A smaller zipper pouch in front of the top compartment easily held my son's Ray Ban polarized aviator sunglasses (inside of its case). The bottom compartment has organization pockets with a decent amount of room for small equipment. Though there was no key clip lanyard (a feature I really like), the zippered mesh pocket on the side opposite of the molle webbing makes up for it. An interesting feature of this bag is that the upper and lower compartments are completely separated. This lets the bag bend easily. Better yet, once the bag is cinched close to your back, it conforms well to you movement, therefore, it can remain reasonably comfortable when you run hard while wearing it. Another really nice feature are loops for you to attach small carabineers to. My son appreciates lot of lashing points for his gear. Please note, Camelbak has just redesigned this bag. Just from the look of it, the upper and lower compartments look like they are fused together, though still separate. My only thought is that the new design might not be as flexible as this older design.

The shoulder straps are nicely padded and not bulky. The big feature is that there is a buckle to quick-release the shoulder straps. The waist strap and buckle is not wide, so it really is not load bearing. However, it will keep the bag better secured on your back and prevent some side-to-side motion if you are running. In addition, you can fasten equipment, that has a loop (like a Leatherman multi-tool pouch), right on the waist strap.

This came with the 3 liter Antidote bladder. The tube is insulated, and the bite valve is covered to protect from dirt, and detachable for ease of cleaning. The only knock on this bladder is that it does not come with the standard CamelBak Antidote dryer arms that are usually tucked around the filling port. To clean and dry the bladder, I carefully took off the dryer arms off of a standard blue Antidote bladder and attached them on. They work fine. In the end, it is not that big of a deal. On that note, the military hose Quick Link feature works on the normal blue 3 liter Antidote bladder quick link as far as I can tell.

5.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas I love this pack 10 de julio de 2015

I love this pack. It carries enough water to get me thru a day, or, most of it, and, it is easy to fill. It is extremely comfortable to wear. While it doesn't carry that much, it carries enough for a day trip, and I could stuff more in it than I do. Generally, I carry this, and a small satchel for my more personal things, wallet, tablet, phone, etc., for day to day. Hiking or traveling about, I just carry this. It is now my favorite day pack, for my EDC. It is a big relief not to have to carry a water bottle around, (altho, I still do, for at work) Any bigger, and it would be too awkward for everyday. I had a smaller CamelBak, and found it simply didn't carry enough water, I had to refill it once or twice a day, and it certainly didn't carry all the day to day things I needed/wanted to have close, never mind enough for a day hike. It appears very well made, sturdy. I have received many compliments on it, and recommend it highly.
