I have used this program for a while now in my old Windows XP computer and these camcorders: Panasonic HDC-TM300 Twin Media HD Camcorder (Silver) and Panasinic HDC-TM350 Twin Media Camcorder [Limited Edition] but since I changed to a new PC with Windows 7 64 bit and the "new" Panasonic HDC-TM700K Hi-Def Camcorder with Pro Control System & 32GB Flash (Black) I have not been able to create a BD; I have been able to unload some short footage to the internet and the PC hard drive but not burning it to a DVD or BD.
I will continue trying other software and I'll post new comments in the near future.
This is an update (08/10/10):
I went to cyberlink web and found a new update for the software (obviously FREE) that solve my problems, now I'm able to work with 1080/60p AVCHD files relatively easy and I have done several DVD & Blu-rays (5 to 20 minutes long) with great results, sometimes the PC (or the program) frizz and you have to start over, that's why I recommend to save your project every 3 to 5 minutes of work or every time you made a significant change and for burn it I recommend to have a "rewritable" DVDs & Blu-rays so you do it first into that media so in the case something wrong happens you erase the media and do it again without waste your money on expensive single recordable BD-R media. Once you have it into the BD-RE or DVD-RW you just make a copy using Nero, Roxio, or any other software you want to the final destination.
The success ratio in transferring the project to the "Rewritable Media" is DVD 95% and Blu-Rays 80%; once I have it into that media the transfer ratio to the final destination is 100% for both (DVD & BD-R).
Hope this help you to make a good buying decision!

Without a doubt Power Director was the easiest to use for me so I purchased it.
When I tried to install the new software via CD it would not load...apparently it doesn't uninstall the TRIAL VERSION automatically like many other programs do and for some reason the TRIAL SOFTWARE didn't appear in my uninstall programs menu in the Control Panal. (I am running Windows Vista Ultimate).
I e-mailed Customer Service and got a fix and even got through to a polite voice who reiterated what I must do.
To me, the fix was too complicated! I had to download a special program from Microsoft to uninstall the TRAIL SOFTWARE, go into Program Files to get rid of stuff there and then "delete items from the Registry!" (I hate stuff like that)!
I eventually got the New Program running but some of the steps were not exactly as explained in the "fix."
I feel the average person wouldn't want to go through all this just to install this software and Power Director needs to address this problem where the TRIAL is automatically removed.
On a positive note, Power Director seems to fill my needs and is fairly intuitive for most people. It seems to have a few glitches and has crashed a couple of times, but if you back up your work often it shouldn't be a problem.
I haven't figured out the HELP section yet (if there is one) and when you go to the online FORUMS the search function didn't seem to work and I could not find HELP TOPICS to assist me with my "HOW TO" questions.
After editing, the finished product is superb and you are presented with lots of save options including direct uploading to You Tube which works well. This product is well worth the money in my opinion and I recommend it, however, as with any new program...there are learning curves especially for we seniors!
Apart from the initial serious problem that quickly became a very small problem, this program is amazing. It is wonderful for video clips and slides alike, for editing clips and for creating videos for You Tube, DVD, AVCHD or blu ray. It is the same program that the Deluxe is, except that it provides the necessary upgrade for high definition videos. I tried many editing programs prior to the purchase of Power Director, and I highly recommend this program.
