5.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Best FM transmitter I've ever used! 2 de julio de 2009

This Cygnett GrooveTrip is the best FM transmitter I've had any experience with. First, you can choose to have it transmit on any FM station and it can hold up to 4 favorite stations in it's reprogrammable memory. Second, it's compatible with any device, just plug it into the headphone jack. Third, it's tiny (maybe an inch wide by two inches long) and lasts for over 10 hours on two AAA batteries. Fourth, it has a good range; it will transmit ten to twenty feet. Fifth, the transition quality is excellent; usually I can't tell the difference between my mp3 player being hooked up directly via line in in my car vs. being transmitted through the radio in my girfriends car.

I am completely satisfied with this purchase for all the reasons stated above.

5.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Exactly What I Was Looking For 18 de mayo de 2010

First of all, this is advertised as a transmitter for iPods. But it works equally well on all MP3 players. I was leery of purchasing a transmitter that ran on batteries alone. But I was pleased to find that the batteries last for months. Without recessed keys, it turns on fairly easily if you're carrying it in a purse or pocket with other items. But it will turn off automatically after about 30 seconds when not in use. It's fast and easy to program. It has four station preset buttons for easy channel change while driving. The sound is wonderful, no static. Even when the radio picks up a weak station signal while driving, it continues to deliver great sound. I hadn't thought of it before purchasing, but it works just as well for in-home radios, too. No need to purchase special speakers for your MP3 player. Just find an empty station setting on your radio and you're good to go. The price is very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this one.

5.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas High Quality, Great Price 19 de marzo de 2010

The GrooveTrip II FM transmitter came as part of the Cygnett TravelKit bundle for iPhones & iPods I purchased when just needing a car charger for my iPhone. The TravelKit was well priced @ $30 and the quality of the FM transmitter is the best I've yet to use. Good range, and clarity. Also, love the fact that I can program 4 stations.

I needed to play podcasts from my Android phone on my car stereo and decided to take the FM route. I tried products that costs three time more than this one (Greffin iTrip, Monster iCarPlay and Motorola T505) but was not happy with the sounds quality. Often I got static from local stations, probably because these products do not put sufficient signal.

With this product on the other hand I had great success. I just picked a quite frequency (89.5) and am getting very clear signal, regardless of where I travel. The product is easy to operate, has automatic shut off and works on standard AAA batteries so I can 'charge' it in seconds, while using the cigarette lighter socket to operate my phone.

My only complain with this product is that the wire is on the short side. I would prefer if it would be longer by 2-3" (but not longer than that).

Highly recommended.

Very compact, easy to use transmitter that plugs into any headphone jack. No mess. No fuss. Very simple. I use it with my iPod and to beam radio apps from my Android phone through my car stereo. Uses AAA batteries and seems to get long battery life. Has a strong signal.

It can be slightly temperamental when bumped, and gives loud bursts of static when rubbed up next to or close to another object. But hey, it's a radio transmitter... so there's no getting around that. One function I really like is the automatic shutoff; if the device attached to it doesn't play anything for 30s, the transmitter shuts off to save battery power.

Overall a great product I would recommend. It is very small and easily carried in your pocket or concealed in the car.
