I was so excited to use this product that I started using it seconds after recieving it. Little did I know that less than a half hour later I would be working with a dud of a product.
Severely disappointed and frustrated doesn't even begin to describe how I feel.
Worst part, this product was being used on my wedding guestbook. So, I need to purchase another just to finish...
It makes a nice narrow scalloped border with a little hole in each scallop -- much like delicate eyelet lace. It's very easy to use and line up along the edge of a card or focal. It folds flat, too, with a little button that holds the top in the "down" position so it stores more easily.
Very happy with this! I'm already using it more than I thought I would.
1. There was no alignment guide on the stamp for you to line up a small piece of paper so you know where you'll actually be punching (yes, it has the patterns on either side of the stamp but they help only if you are using a longer piece of paper.
2. Secondly there is nothing underneath that catches all the cut outs that drop out. What a mess it leaves behind! There should be some sort of removable tray underneath that catches all the fallout
3. It works great on thin paper. Less great on card stock (even light card stock). I wanted to use it to embellish the earring cards I make on card stock but I may need to rethink that plan.
