Just decorated my rental fridge (inspired by pinterest) and it turned out great! The duck tape is nice and sticky but I was also able to reposition it if I didn't get the line exactly straight. I also applied it to foam core above my cabinets, no ability to restick there. Stickiness depends on the surface you apply it to.

5.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Duck Tape Emergency Kit 21 de agosto de 2016
Por Cynthia Raxter - Publicado en

My favorite use for Duck Tape is Christmas and graduation presents for nieces and nephews and cousins. To make a Duck Tape Emergency Kit, put $5 to $20 cash inside the roll of Duck Tape. Seal it with clear packing tape so you can see the money inside. Write the words "In case of emergency" on the clear tape.

I keep black white and silver duct tape on hand at all times. I use silver to fix leaky aluminum windows in my old house. Three strips of white duct tape holds a white bookcase together. Black duct tape covers blue LED lights on the cell phone charger that was keeping me awake at night. Black also covers the red LED lights on the TV, DVD player, the automatic litterbox, the Roomba's charger, power strips, and tv rabbit ear antenna.... I use white duct tape to hold curtains over a clear cat flap that faces the street. i use silver to keep Reflectix bubble wrap insulation in place on the basement door, on an aluminum storm door and on basement vents in the winter. I use black duct tape to make arrows for signs. I use two very neatly trimmed pieces of white duct tape to cover scuffs on the back of my white heels. I use it to hold a towel on my exercise bicycle seat. I use white duct tape to hold the mattress pad on the memory foam mattress. I use white duct tape to make a write-on-wipe-off surface on the fridge for a shopping list. I have used black duct tape to hem pants in an emergency. Silver is also good for taping a turn signal knob on in the car and posting yard sale signs on street sign posts.

It will take off a wart. You can use it as Steri Strips in an emergency or on the back of a heel that is getting a blister. You can use it to splint an ankle or hold a bandage on an odd spot or keep sterile gauze from getting dirty or wet in outdoor situations.

It is good to wrap tool handles with with the sticky side out -- or the smooth side on shovel handles that may be splintered. It's great for marking drill bits so you don't plunge the bit in too deeply. I use it to clamp chairs I'm gluing and to hold a stack of small boards together at the miter saw.

I think it is very important to have duct tape with you at all times. I put a roll in the car. In my desk. In my tool bag. In my go bags whether I'm teaching art or star gazing or camping.

Duct tape - it holds the universe together.

1.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas It doesn't stick to anything! 22 de agosto de 2015

Am I crazy? I think I'm going crazy. This tape doesn't stick to anything! I bought it to help rig the window kit for my A/C unit and to also help maintain cords and wires for our computer desk. I also ended up using it in some crafts. I bought two different rolls and have been using both so it's not a bad apple. this tape falls off anything I stick it to within 24 hours!! It's absurd. My other purple duct tape works fine, it's just unsightly. I don't get it. It's not hot or humid where I am and be surfaces I'm putting the tape on are clean. Very disappointed!

1.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas It doesn't stick like duct tape. 27 de septiembre de 2016

It doesn't stick! It's yellow, it's thick, and it... comes off on it's own accord. It's a lot like painter's tape, but then it also can't be used like painter's tape. I'm not sure what I'd compare it to. It came off cardboard, it came off a puffer jacket, it came off shoes. It's actually kind of useless. I'm sad because I bought it for a halloween costume in 3 great colors. The colors are lovely and bright. It felt thick, but it wont stay attached. True to duct tape I tried to use it a few other senarios (got kids? need duct tape), it was a no go. What the heck. It is sticky, but it's not something you can really use for much. The white tape ended up being kind of see through, so I had to use 2 "coats" for the desired effect. Now it's stiff like a board, sticks to itself fine. More like electrical tape. Has a bit of stretch and only kind of sticky. If you want to use it because it'll come off, beware it'll leave a residue.

This tape worked great for me. I have four pencil rolls for colored pencils that hold 72 each. My pencils are sorted by color groups. I was going mad opening the one containing green and purple when I was looking for the red and blue case. The holders are made from black canvas and desperately needed labelling. I found my answer in aqua duck tape. It sticks to the canvas unlike other tapes and labels and can be changed easily if need be. Also, being somewhat finicky, the color is appealing and does not clash with the brown trim.. Duct tape is the answer to so many problems. I trust Duck brand.
