4.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Good wool at a decent price 2 de febrero de 2016

I'll post a more thorough review when we've used it, but here's a first look from an experienced wool diaperer:

-First, for some crazy reason the description says it's 80% cotton. It's not, tag says it's 100% wool, and part-cotton wouldn't work as a diaper cover anyway.

- The size range is pretty shape-dependent, kiddos who tend to be wide for their height probably won't fit as long as they say. I got a size 2 for my 11mo, who weighs 26lbs and is beginning to outgrow size 18m clothes, average height for his age but very round and broad through the bum and thighs. On him, with a Snappi'd flat diaper (about the trimmest thing you can put under wool), the unfelted cover is just about the right size, there's no extra width or height. I'm going to be careful about really only felting the wet zone and just a little, because if the waist loses any stretch it will be too small. And a big double-stuffed nighttime fitted diaper underneath, forget about it. So for him, I do not think it will last to 35lbs, even assuming toddler slimming, but for a slenderer, narrower child it may.

-If you've looked at other pull-on wool soakers, they're shaped like briefs with trim, definitely more coverage than most diapers but still a brief style rather than a pant. The leg cuffs on these actually extend down the leg like shorts, even on my very chunky boy. I'm delighted by that, it means I can put him in baby leggings and he won't have a two-inch gap of skin on the cold floor. Also, unlike Disana and some others, the cuffs on EcoPosh are knitted on rather than serged, which is friendly to big thighs and kiddos who are sensitive to seams.

-Both the waist and leg cuffs are very stretchy, which is great - skinny and chubby babies alike can get comfy close coverage. If you find the rise too high for your liking on a small baby, you can fold it down.

-Like any wool, a) it definitely needs to be lanolized before you can expect it to function as a diaper cover, it's easy and you can find the two supplies cheap at any drugstore, and b) you must have enough diaper underneath to absorb your child's pee, because if the diaper and the wool both get soaked, then yes, it will leak. It's not a plastic bag (if that's what you want, get a Bummis PUL pull-on cover), and it's not a magic pee vaporizer. If your wool is clean and freshly lanolized and still leaking, you either need more absorbency underneath or to change more frequently.

5.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas My FAVORITE diaper covers! 18 de enero de 2014

These are my all time favorite diaper covers, though I haven't tried any other wool covers, just a few of the more traditional PLU covers. My son is a very slender but long 9 pounds, and these are big, but still work.

Things I love about this cover:
They're SOFT - not scratchy or itchy at all
No red lines on his legs or belly
They're soft against my skin, too, so when we practice skin to skin time, my belly doesn't get scratched (his covers with velcro closures scratch my belly)
Super easy to take care of
I don't need many - I have 3, and have stopped using his other covers, I love these so much
breathable - my son gets hot easily, but these covers let his skin breathe so he's not sweaty when I go to change him
Being 2-sized, they should work longer
Super easy to change him - just pull the old ones down, change the diaper, then pull a new pair up (I let them air inside-out between each changing). I don't have to worry about getting them tight enough or making them too tight.
They keep him nice and warm, so he usually just wears a diaper, even in winter - less laundry!
Even if he soaks his cloth diaper, the outside is still nice and dry (yes, I lanolized them)

Yes, these are bulky (at least when your baby is small), and most of his onesies, pants, etc, don't fit as well, but that's pretty standard for cloth diapers. If you don't want bulky, get sized all in ones or pocket diapers. But for those of us without a fortune to spend on diapers, bulky is the norm. They're also big on him at 9 pounds, but they're supposed to be good until 20 pounds, so I expected that.

We haven't had major blowouts or super soaker nights yet, but I think they'll hold up great and keep all the mess contained, even now when they're bigger and the legs aren't tight against his body.

I use them with prefolds and contour diapers, and LOVE them!!

I love this cover; it's soft, dries in 24 hours and has solved our nighttime diapering issues and my kiddo's sleepsack stays dry and warm.

I have a 23 lb. 8 mo old and this fits great now and we'll get a lot of use out of it. I don't use wool full-time so didn't want to spend a ton of money investing in another diaper product, so I appreciate that this didn't break the bank.

I use this almost daily over Goodmamas and I love the quick pull on design. Wash is easy, wears well, I still don't have any pilling after 4 months of almost daily use. I hate PUL covers and this fits the ever changing curves of my chunky baby.

it's really really big. My baby is 4 months old and she still can't wear it because it goes up to her armpits and is just really itchy. I'm not sure we're ever going to use it a lot.
