I ran a sawzall cutting branches with it, charged phones, gopro batteries, laptops, walkie talkies, tent lights, a fan, ran a fluorescent light above our kitchen, and played the radio off and on for 3 days and it worked flawlessly.
Granted the battery needed charged with a solar panel but the inverter did great.
PROS: Compact, Lightweight, ease of use, your able to choose how to connect it, either by clamps to the battery or the 12v plug and removable.
Has a ground hook up so you can ground it, mountable, you can use it for some power tools, has a on/off button glows blue
CONS: no digital display, packaging was hard to open
I Would buy it again.
Buy this product if you have low power consumption items, I have ran Small 20" TV/DVD player combo, a shop light and charged 2 cell phones with this without an issue, also ran a sawzall, drill and skil saw under a load no issue (one at a time and not continuous)
I do not know if it will run a small refrigerator yet...I'll keep you posted
When it's on dark car floor, USB are a bit hard to locate and connect to, plus if inverter is left 'floating' in the vehicle, they are rather vulnerable to damage as inverter is moved around. I would suggest a recessed USB port area which contains the USB "handle" allowing just the cord to project.
Has good mounting legs, so if you were to mount it solidly, the USB vulnerability issue could be minimized.
The Blue 'Power' LED is bright when driving at night, so best to have it under the seat or somewhere out of line of sight.
I like that the AC ports are up-facing, which makes it easy to connect if on the car floor. I wish the USB ports were up-facing too.
Lighter plastic for AC ports makes it easy to locate them in a dark interior, against the darker inverter body.
This is merely feedback, and I still like the unit, which feels very solid and well-made.
I've only used it with a laptop and can't testify to it's rated power output capabilities.
I think ALL inverters should come with silicone covers for their DC input terminal posts to prevent short circuiting.
