1.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas False advertisement, not genuine Epson cartridge. 26 de agosto de 2015
Por Alex Ashong - Publicado en Amazon.com

False advertising, the ink cartridges are not actually genuine Epson. See attached picture, if you look closely at the circuitry of the cartridge on the right is authentic because it has Epson written on it. The one I ordered on the left does not have Epson written on the circuit board and the pins are a different shape than the authentic one. My Epson printer will not read it.

3.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas 126 and 127 Capacities 29 de julio de 2012
Por Mark Emdee - Publicado en Amazon.com
I received this reply from Epson about the capacity of each:
High-capacity Black (126): About 385 pages;
Extra High-capacity Black (127): About 945 pages;
High-capacity Cyan, Magenta and Yellow (126): About 470 pages;
Extra High-capacity Cyan, Magenta and Yellow (127): About 755 pages.

And the rest of Epson's reply:
Epson does not provide the ink volume in mls for its cartridges because mls do not translate into any usable print information. Mls will not tell you how much printing you can get out of a cartridge. To get an idea of how much printing can be done from a cartridge, Epson provides estimated page yields for the black cartridges and color cartridges for its printers.

Ink is fast drying and non smearing. I prefer the output on this Epson printer to my Canon Pixma printer. This printer does go through Black cartridges quickly. I suggest unless you use a lot of color buying the 125 series low capacity color cartridges and coupling that with the high capacity 126 series Black cartridges. In addition, I have been able to print a good 20+ sheets in Black and White after the Epson printer ink utility states that the black cartridge is out of ink. I have not tried to use the suggestions from one of the other reviews to extend the life of black ink cartridges but I will try this. The cartridges are expensive and they do seem to get used up rapidly.

1.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Not a Bargain 18 de octubre de 2015
Por A. Wyman - Publicado en Amazon.com

Every one of the cartridges initially worked and not even halfway through the ink, the cartridge flashed me this message on my printer: "Cannot recognize the following ink cartridge(s). Try installing them again."

After repeated attempts each time, I had to install a new cartridge. Back to Staples I go!

1.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Defective - beware of good looking fakes. 26 de febrero de 2016
Por Andrew Foss - Publicado en Amazon.com

They all worked at first, but eventually all three colors had the error, "Cannot recognize ink cartridge." There was still plenty of ink, but this didn't happen until after the 30 day return window.
These did not have the "Epson" name on the circuit board upon close inspection.
These were sold by "Great Stream" Do not buy from them - seems likely to be fake.

It may be fine if sold direct by Amazon or another reseller. May just go to Staples next time - it's just too difficult to discern geniune product until getting burned later.
Epson could do better to make a clear way to determine product authenticity!
