5.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas a great single 23 de enero de 2014

Fake Plastic Trees help immersed Radiohead into becoming one of the greatest bands in modern history, arguably ever in music history. The song starts off with an acoustic guitar at a moderate speed with a background synthesizer fills the atmosphere with a relaxing mood . It slowly gets hardened with the riffs and solo by distorted guitars before it slowly fades away into another quiet realm of abstractness and imagination, thanks to the psychologically-emotional lyrics and singing by Yorke.

Overall it is a great single to have for both value and the collection of it. What a genuine song by the way!

I'm giving this 5 stars because the music is fantastic and I don't want to bring the rating down. However, make sure you're buying what you want!! I was on the page for Fake Plastic Trees CD2 (which includes acoustic versions of FPT, Bullet Proof, and Stret Spirit) and Amazon said it was available on MP3. However, when I clicked on the link to the MP3 version, it took to me Fake Plastic Trees CD1, which is completely different (featuring India Rubber and How Can You Be Sure?). Fortunately I realized this right before I made a purchase. So if CD1 is what you're looking for, you're good to go; if CD2 is what you want then you will have to buy the CD or look for the MP3s elsewhere as Amazon does not appear to have them.

5.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Simply Amazing 17 de abril de 2001

This is an excellent CD Single that starts out with an amazing album version of an amazing song, and then launches into three brilliant acoustic versions of Bends-era songs recorded live at Eve's Club in London. First of all, the CD starts out with the Album Version of Fake Plastic Trees. This is one of Radiohead's best songs, and that's saying a lot, as their body of work is completely stunning. Next on the CD is an acoustic version of Fake Plastic Trees, and it's as good, if not better than the original. Then comes one of the most underrated, and yet still massively appealing songs of the Bends album: Bulletproof... I Wish I Was. On this CD single, it is an acoustic version, and it gives me chills. The CD then closes with a song that leaves me shaking and stunned: an acoustic version of Street Spirit (Fade Out). If you don't already have this CD Single, and you are perhaps teetering on the fence wondering whether or not you should buy it, I highly urge you to get out to Best Buy right now and buy it, because you can find it for a dollar cheaper there than you can here.
