The Fingers of God takes us on an exciting journey. A photographic essay with commentary, The Fingers of God brings a message. The gifts of nature are within reach, available whereever we are. This book is a journey, a spiritual journey through skies and gardens; an exaltation of nature. The message is twofold, first that the natural is evidence of God. While humankind has enhanced and expanded upon that which exists in nature, that original atom, that first seed must have emanated from a higher power. Second, we all have access to the marvels of nature, close at hand. With little effort, we can all experience the Fingers of God - and it is worth the effort. Beginning with the skies and condensation, the actual Fingers of God are those extraordinary rays that reach out upward and downward through the clouds. The clouds provide a showcase for the sun, either as a white layer or billowing panorama. Sunrises and sunsets are often indescribable spectacles. When the clouds are filled with water, the rains begin, sometimes as light showers, often as storms. The journey continues through these storms and ends in the delightful and exciting gardens that are created by seed, water and sun. .......... Travelling through The Fingers of God, the photos take on a different meaning with each viewing. Take more than a moment to study the photos and accompanying text. Enjoy the journey.
Biografía del autor
Louis Peerless' mantra is "Left brain by day; Right brain by night." Peerless is a seasoned real estate broker in Cincinnati, Ohio, a businessman who, in the late 1990s, decided to exploit his creative side. Through his paintings and sculpture, writings of prose and poetry, along with his work behind the camera, Peerless is emerging as a true Renaissance Man.His writing experience began early, in elementary school as editor of the school newspaper. During the rest of his academic years Peerless continued to create - mostly humor. Yet following his Master's program graduation, a call from an old friend, asking him to write a chapter for a soon to be published book, confirmed for him that writing was in his blood. The writing became more serious, articles in social work administration (his first career) and then on real estate topics for his firm's newsletter or publication in business journals. From 1985 through 1989, he wrote a monthly article on commercial real estate for the Business Courier, Cincinnati's business weekly. Other 'sister publications' picked up the articles and as a result, Peerless was published in St. Louis, Washington, D. C. and San Francisco as well.Peerless, now a solo practitioner, still creates his quarterly business newsletter, yet when the right brain kicks in, he has turned more towards poetry, especially over the past five years. Many of those poetic phrases are included in The Fingers of God. He looks forward to his next volume of photographs and accompanying words in his quest to communicate his simple yet effective thoughts, to share with the readers what he has experienced, a profound spiritual enjoyment in the more basic elements of life on Earth.

Filled with beautiful photos and heartwarming words that inspired me, "The Fingers of God" is a collection of quotes and poems that picked me up when I was feeling down. I highly recommend it to everyone.
I learned that you don't have to reach far to find God. He is all around us, and his beauty is wonderfully captured by the author in this book which everyone should read.
