3.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Not my favorite product 11 de diciembre de 2012

I've been a fan of gerber for a very long time now, and most of the products that Bear Grylls teamed up with have satisfied my need for multipurpose tools.

A. the wattage is nothing to write home about, it will get the "job done" but for the price, walmart has much more powerful pieces of gear.

B. It is a comfortable fit, i haven't tested out too many of these, but from what i can tell i wont have a problem with adjusting it and irritation

C. 1 AAA battery... light... i like it

D. compartment for extra AAA battery is just a piece of cloth, no padding, presses against your head... It is a good idea, not executed very well.

Overall, i would probably refer a friend to a different model of headbands, but there is nothing particularly wrong with this item, especially for the price.
3.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Very good at first, but failed. 23 de diciembre de 2016

I purchased this light and it arrived promptly. Upon opening the package, I was very impressed by the light. The High power mode was just right for work, and the low power mode was excellent for reading, or for working on something up close. The light performed flawlessly for about two months. One day when I went to use it, it didn't turn on on the high mode. Clicked the on button to turn it on, and nothing happened. Clicked the button again it turned on on the low beam mode. Clicked it off. I tried again, and got the same results. I have still been using it, but it is very frustrating to have it only work on the one mode.

Would I buy this product again? Probably not. It worked well, until it didn't work. Gerber has many good products, but this one failed to deliver.

Pros:
lightweight
cheap
single AAA design is economical on batteries
battery holder on the headband
bright beam that is even
high and low modes

Cons:
high beam mode failed after under two months of light use

4.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Great Minimalist Design 11 de agosto de 2015

I gave this four stars for the design and format. It is a very small light that fits snugly on your head. The strap is nice and the extra battery holder does not get in the way (it sits on the outside of the strap on the back). Similarly, the light itself is setup nicely. It is a minimalist design that works great. I really like how you can adjust the angle with a small swivel. This is much more convenient than many other headlamps that pull out or angle by having to adjust the entire lamp. This is probably one of the best thought out head lamps, as far as the design goes. My only complaint is the lumens, it is not the brightest light out there. This is great for night hikes and general camping. I wish it was brighter, however, with only one battery, you can't expect it to be that bright.

1.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Prince of Darkness 29 de diciembre de 2016

Lasted one day !!! Then went to only high beam...then NO beam. Seems like a typical British lighting system.... it sucks. Must have been made by Lucas the Prince of Darkness.then to make matters worse the seller wouldnt send me a new one...now Im stuck contacting Gerber direct. Avoid Botach tactical.boo hiss
3.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Decent back up light. 6 de febrero de 2017

Very cheap and flimsy but it works. Dropped it, still works. Initial impressions it would only be a back up light. I have some battery brand headlamps that are significantly better quality for the same price. Feels like a toy, though it's very light weight, takes minimal space and carries a spare battery. For the money, it's a viable spare light in a camping or hunting kit.
