5.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Made a Crappy LP sound WONDERFUL! 29 de diciembre de 2015

Just got my HT-6 today and could not wait to write a review on it. This thing is fantastic! I've gone through a lot of tuning devices including a pitch pipe and a tuning fork when I was a kid. All of the electronic devices were not up to par. Save your money and get this one! It's a little expensive BUT you'll save money in the long run. I recently purchase3d a new Gibson Les Paul and drove me crazy.....could not get it to sound right, Had it tweeked at the shop and it was a little better, but still not right. I'm very fussy about pitch having started out on a steel string acoustic. I have a Strat, an electric Taylor acoustic, and an old beginners Peavy Strat knock off. They ALL sounded great but the LP was always off. I was ready to send it back or sell it. I tuned it today with the HT-6 and am in love with the LP now! No other tuner is close to being as accurate as this one. All of my guitars sound better...even the Taylor acoustic with an electric pick up. Some reviews state that after they tune their guitar string by string and then strum, the strum shows strings out of tune. The trick is to tune the guitar TWICE, and trying to tune UP to pitch as much as possible. This thing is so accurate that it will show how much the stress on the neck, etc, will ever so slightly change the pitch of the first string you adjusted. When I went back and tuned it string by string (I go low "E" to high "E"), and strummed it it showed all of the strings perfectly in tune. And the LP sounds WONDERFUL! Will never buy another tuner again. And, no, I don't work for or even know anyone from Amazon or DigiTech. No local stores have this in stock. Good luck.

My faithful old Fender PT-10 finally gave it up. So, I went tuner shopping. When I saw the Digitech HT-6 Polyphonic my curiosity was piqued. I read the reviews here and elsewhere, downloaded and reviewed the manual and decided this would be my next pedal tuner. I have a couple other Digitech pedals, so, I trust the brand. This tuner actually has more versatility than I need personally...alt tuning, bass tuning, etc. but as long as it gives me A440 standard tuning and signal mute, it's good to go.

I didn't know how practical, or even necessary the polyphonic multi string tuning would be, but it seemed worth a try. Having used this tuner at a couple gigs now and tinkered with it at home some, I'm learning to like it...or at least I remain optimistic. It IS a little confusing to read until you get use to it...which I'm still doing. That's a lot of lights from over six feet up with old fuzzy eyes (astigmatism).

This tuner is ruggedly built and should hold up very well. It does everything they say it will. The 'Fret Offset' function interests me, but honestly, I haven't explored that yet. As for the quality of the product, I'd have to say 'excellent'.

$69.99 is a great price for it. I checked other sources and the going price everywhere else seems to be $99.99. As I said, I'm still learning to like it. Definitely a pretty cool tool...maybe even a little too cool, for me. I've second guessed my decision a couple times. Just dunno yet. We'll see. I'm not dogging the tuner at all. Fine product, as advertised. It just might be more 'functional' than I actually need.

I'll keep it brief:

-Great response time
-Easy to use at a glance. I am 6'4", have 20/80 vision without contacts in, and can still tune with this in the dark with no contacts while standing. Perfect for live use
-Polyphonic mode helps find out of tune strings quickly, then spot-tune them as a single string. very useful
-Feels solidly made, and comes with a precut velcro hook-side pad for the bottom, a glow-in-the-dark sticker for the foot switch, and a battery inside

This is a fantastic tuner for playing in a band. At the end of each song I hit the pedal, sound is cut out, I strum all 6 strings and am instantly told which ones are sharp or flat. I mute the stings, pick a string to tune and the screen instantly transforms into a normal string tuner. Before the next starts I have the confidence that my guitar is in perfect tune. This is way faster than individually checking each string.

Every now and then you come across a new product that is just fantastic. This is one of them. If you are at a gig, you step on the peddle and it mutes the sound. Then you strum your guitar and you can see all six strings at once. If any strings are off, you play that single string and a very accurate strobe light makes tuning easy. There are also alternate tunings available. It's really a kick to use. I highly recommend this tuner.
