Received the book in a timely manner. It is an extensive depth into using the herb Artemisinin in the treatment for Babesia, Malaria and Cancer. I purchased the book to treat Babesia, a co-infection from Lyme Disease. The book goes into depth about using the herb for that purpose and was very helpful.

1.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Beware: Artemisia May Cause Severe Illness, not Die-off 4 de abril de 2016
Por Camilla Gordon - Publicado en Amazon.com
Formato: Tapa blanda
The Use of the Herb Artemisinin for Babesia, Malaria & Cancer: All the Practical Information You Need To Make Smart Decisions on Artemisinin is about the use of Artemisia/wormwood or its primary component, artemisinin, either alone or in conjunction with other herbs or drugs to eradicate Lyme’s coinfection of Babesia and/or other protozoan parasites. And if/when the patient gets very ill, the book states that this must be the die-off effect or Herxheimer reaction and that this is a good thing.

But this book does not include the “flip side” to this that is discussed in the remarkable books by Dr. Steven Rochlitz, particularly his book, Porphyria: The Ultimate Cause of Common. Chronic and Environmental Illnesses. In that book, Rochlitz states that in many “cases” the patient’s severe illness and overall worsening condition, is due to the fact that Artemisia induces porphyria! In other words, the patient’s illness after taking Artemisia is NOT the die-off effect; rather the herb has directly caused a severe illness namely porphyria.

Rochlitz details that porphyria is not a rare disease, and that 20% of humanity is genetically predisposed to acquiring porphyria after many types of toxic exposures. In fact, the waste products of the Lyme organism (Borrelia burgdorferi) or the co-infections of the protozoans like Babesia or others, can also have induced porphyria. Only Steven Rochlitz is revealing this possibility and he has written that it is happening thousands of times a day in doctors’ offices. That is, the patient reports back that Artemisinin has made them very sick or “much worse” and the usual doctor’s response is “that’s great, that’s the die-off effect, just keep taking it.” In reality, a chronic, possibly a permanent porphyria has resulted. Rochlitz’s book says the porphyria then often makes the sufferer become reactive to many foods, environmental chemicals and EMF. They also then become more adversely reactive to other herbs, drugs, and even vitamins “don’t work.”

So either instead of this book, or at least in addition to it, save your health and order Steven Rochlitz’s Porphyria book. It’s not sold here, only at the author’s wellatlast com.

In fact, there you will find a link to an awesome 1-hour interview/lecture on these matters. It includes the sad case of a mother in Europe who told Dr Rochlitz how she followed the instruction of a book for her mildly ill young son. The sicker he got from being given the Artemisia the more she referred back to the book about “the die-off effect” and kept him on it for 2 months. It took a year for her doctor to listen to her—after she ordered and read Rochlitz’s book—to test the boy for porphyria as all med students memorize the big lie that porphyria is “very rare.” The tests were positive and proved that the Artemisia had caused a permanent, or semi-permanent, porphyria with the boy having become very “allergic” to many things. Rochlitz’s book includes many things to help come out of the porphyric state.

So to sum up, The Use of the Herb Artemisinin for Babesia, Malaria & Cancer: All the Practical Information You Need to Make Smart Decisions on Artemisinin has some potentially helpful information on using Artemisinin or wormwood for the alleged Lyme co-infection of Babesia or other protozoan parasites. But anyone taking this herb, or some of the drugs used for this purpose, is in grave danger of becoming much sicker and very “allergic” due to chronic porphyria being induced by the wormwood compound. So it would be wise to get Dr Rochlitz’s Porphyria: The Ultimate Cause… book, either along with this book, or instead of it.
