Reseña del editor
The bestselling author of Ageless Body, Timeless Mind has written his most ambitious and important work yet - an exploration of the seven ways we experience God. These are shaped, not by any one religion, but by an instinct that is hardwired into the brain. In this remarkable book, Chopra takes us step by step from the first stage, where the brain's 'fight or flight' response leads us to a God who is an all-powerful and sometimes unpredictable parent, to the seventh stage, where the brain experiences God as pure being, beyond thought, a sacred presence. It is at this seventh stage that we attain a true, life-changing spiritual understanding of the world and our place in it; it is the level at which saints and sages dwell. All seven stages are available to each of us, all the time. Deepak Chopra explores mysticism, religious ecstasy, genius, telepathy, multiple personality and clairvoyance, drawing insights from psychology, neurology and physics, as well as from the great religions. The result is vintage Chopra applied to the ultimate quest.Ver Descripción del producto

It was very well constructed and made a lot of sense. It also gave you an idea of how you might deepen your own spiritual 'advancement'. Where you might need to move through a block, or gain a deeper level of consciousness to continue evolving in a great er way.
So definitely worth a read and definitely worth a read if you are working on building up within all areas of the MIND-BODY-SPIRIT field. I am all about doing the workout (and work) in each of those areas of our lives and this is a great resource to help with that.
The only thing I was a little disappointed with was the HUGE amount of punctuation and grammatical errors in the Kindle version. It was not just a few, but 30-40+. This is not really acceptable. As an author myself, we owe it to our readers to give them 100% of what we have.
That aside. I still highly recommend this book and Deepak's work.
This book isn't like his others, and it isn't a substitute for any of them. It hasn't processes, exercises or advice (per se). This gift is unique in that it describes, in overview mode, a human being's spiritual evolution with spot-on accuracy. If you have a strong taste for truth, you will cognite on where you are currently, where you've been, and where you're heading. If you don't find the material extraordinarily revealing, I suggest that you put the book aside and come back to it. It is easy to read, too, but one reading will not be enough; I am still uncovering layers of meaning (in myself), and I've read it many times. It's very difficult to write a review for this book that does it justice; I've tried and then deleted the attempts. This review represents another try.
