It can go in the washroom as well, doing and being the same way, with no special water catching tray or fancy wires and hooks attached, it's just there to keep the peace, to be useful when ever you want, as it is easy to put anywhere non-permanent as well. The laundry room if it's fancy will appreciate this for everyone to put maybe their hand soap after using it there.
It may accumulate soap, but what doesn't, you still have to take care of luxury products, so you have to clean them once in a while, unless of course you do not and it still okay with you. There may be rust spots so when or if that happens don't use it for wet things, use it for dry things.
Or the shower to hold your special soaps like the one's I own. Or use it for something else to stand on it, it doesn't matter what you use it for, just don't complain about it because it does what it does because it's all it can do. And it does it more gripped to the surface than most, so I'd pay for that yes and appreciate it as well.
The older one they gave everyone was apparently a better one, and everyone hates when companies have to cut corners, but with Government putting many restrictions and policy changes on important and useless things with corporations and their trading agreements, companies are left with no choice sometimes and don't take donations, and raising a price of a product would not change anything and I'm sure they're sorry. That's why I buy deferent designs from different people and because I'm so artistically creative I can think of other ways to use them if they don't work out.
Such as when our breakfast Nook is up and working it'll look nice on it near the kettle for me to put my midnight hours of coffee making "spoon & drippings", so I'm not placing the cutlery on the dirty counter in the night like that, and when darling wakes up there's no mess to be seen, just evidence of me awake and waiting for his Morning Smile.
The things we had by the sinks before were mood altering ugly plastic nothings, and didn't match our sinks, I didn't care if they worked they were ugly and I would have rather had this one. It does nothing but basically ask you occasionally if you would like to put that on it, It's luxury and should be treated as such. I know I am.
Thank you Interdesign, Muaww.
I also use it to store that dish scrubber that you fill with dish soap so that soap doesn't leak out of the sponge end so that does account for a lot of the water that is accumulating in the holder, but still, if you're storing a sponge, you need to allow for drainage.
