3.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Cute but Flawed 24 de abril de 2016

I have this in another pattern for my older son, and reviewed it highly when we got it - they're really cute bags and a good size for a toddler to manage. It is NOT big enough for school, but fits a cup and a snack or a few toys and books. If it were bigger, a toddler wouldn't be able to manage it.

When this one arrived, although it was clearly brand new and well packaged I noticed that the snap was wearing through the cotton lining, which is all it's attached to. When I checked out older one, I found the same problem was occurring. We were going on vacation the next day and I wanted them for the flight, so I did some sewing and fabric-tac gluing to secure the snaps.

The primary closure is the pull-cord, but my toddler and even my preschooler can't really operate that, so the snap actually is really important to keep things in the bag, making this a major flaw. The snaps are holding after my repairs and reinforcement, but I shouldn't have to improve the product before use.

I was looking for a park pack for our granddaughter to carry small toys and a sippy cup with her when she walks to the park with her mom and dad. This pack is perfect. It is soft sided for her small body and well made from all appearances so it should last her a long time. The design is versatile and could not be cuter. The straps are a little long for her tiny body right now but they can be crossed before being put on her back or pinned up some by mommy for a year or so and then let out or she can carry the pack by the hand strap.

3.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas No Shape to Bag and Inside Seams Exposed 8 de enero de 2013

I just returned this bag. Although the design is just as cute in person as in the picture, I was disappointed in the quality. Because the bag has no shape to it, it flops around on my tiny girl (she is 2 1/2) and appears much bigger than the other packs with the same measurements. It basically comes as a big square.

The quality from the outside of the bag looks really good, so I was surprised to find the seams on the inside not finished and fraying.

In addition to this, the straps on the back are really cheap, not padded and as adjustable as other packpacks.

We ended up going with the Skip Hop Zoo Pack in elephant. It is canvas and very sturdy. She likes wearing it much better and although the measurements are essentially the same, the Skip Hop fits her little frame much better.

3.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Very cute.. not as durable as I had expected... 10 de junio de 2011

Got this backpack for my soon to be kindergartener. It is very cute but barely fits her folder for school, meaning you can put it in there but it sticks out and you cannot pull the drawstrings closed. Also , the pocket is very cheap plastic-like material. I expected the backpack to be a lot more durable.. it seems more cheaply made than I had hoped for. I think it was a bad choice for a school backpack and it is more for a younger child to take in the car or something along those lines.

When I first heard this album, I immediately thought of Yngwie Malmsteen and Al DiMeola. Little wonder in that I discovered when reading the liner notes, both of them are featured here. And when you hear Starcycle, you are going to think of Jeff Beck, though on this album he is not featured.
Back in the day when I was just discovering the many towering prog and metal musicians signed to the InsideOut stable, I picked this up on an impulse. And a good impulse it turned out to be. This isn't the type of music I listen to day in and day out, but there are times when I need a good dose of the type of spacey metal offered on Black Utopia.
With Malmsteen and DiMeola on board, you should expect guitar heroics, and you get plenty of them. My favorites are the high-flying opener The Fury, the Beck cover Starcycle, and the vaguely familiar Sweet Lament.
Though Derek Sherinian is a keyboard man, this album by no means highlights them although they are an integral part of the music. This is a metal fusion lover's album strongly powered by the guitar. The CD is accompanied by a rather cheaply glued-in booklet that contains album info and thanks to lots of people you probably never heard of.
By no means is this essential, but it is pretty good so if you like the kind of music described, then you should give this a shot.
