5.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas This bass was recommended to me by a fellow player 26 de enero de 2015

I play in a working cover band and play a $1500 Fender American P Bass. I wanted a spare Bass for a backup. This bass was recommended to me by a fellow player. I was willing to spend triple the price of this for a good quality backup instrument, but took the leap since it was only $199 and could return it if it did not meet my expectations. I received the bass a few days ago and I am amazed. First, Amazon packed it wonderfully double boxing the manufacturer box. I took the bass out, tuned it up, made a small action adjustment because I like my strings close to the fret board, plugged it in and I have been playing it for 3 days straight. Not sure how ESP does it, but their Asian made guitars far exceed the other brands out there. The tuners and bridge are solid, the split coil pickup sounds as good as my Fender P Bass, and thus baby is about 4 lbs lighter which is a dream. It also has a few extra frets (24 in total) and strung with Cleartone Strings which are $30 a set. The neck is really thin like a Jazz Bass which makes playing a breeze - great for faster riffing. A great buy overall.

Well I decided I wanted to learn how to play bass since I was pretty good at guitar. I saw this one and it was for a low price and looked pretty cool, so I ordered it. It came 5 days sooner than the estimated time. This bass is nice and comes with a good gig bag. It sounds pretty sick and is just a great buy. I reccomend this bass for classic rock, metal, heavy metal pretty much any type of rock music. I highly reccomend this bass for people looking for a great bass with a tight budget.

METALLICA RULES!!!!!

4.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Maximum "bang-for-buck" bass guitar 28 de diciembre de 2015

I picked up my guitar after a 30 year break from it. But in that time I have developed osteoarthritis in my wrists and it made playing guitar difficult and painful. My daughter - who plays bass guitar - suggested I try taking up the bass. I'm glad I did and I am glad that I bought this LTD B-10. It is a great instrument for the price (I paid AUD$297) and it is a very nice looking bass. When I got it home I just needed to adjust the action ever so slightly (raising it but that's my preference) and it is a dream to play. It is a great bass guitar for beginners and it would probably serve pretty well as a backup for a gigging player. It sounds great and plays well for just about any genre of music. This is a great "value-for-money" bass and you could do worse than buying an LTD B-10.

1.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Can't Even Play It 28 de diciembre de 2014
Por Susan Smith - Publicado en Amazon.com
We purchased this guitar for our daughter for Christmas. We were comfortable with ordering it online because of the positive reviews other customers had posted. What a disappointment! The strings were strung so they are tight against the frets with no room for vibration. We took the guitar to our local (trusted) music store. The store clerk was not impressed with the workmanship that was being allowed to represent this product. He told us that in order to make it playable, we would have to adjust the bridge! So in addition to the original splurge of this guitar, we now have to spend more $$ just to make it work. Supposedly, someone, initials "C.B." inspected this guitar before it was shipped to us. Clearly, that person did not do their job.
