Only criticism I have is that this book did not talk about how to build Cascading apps using Maven, Gradle etc. This is a really important step when learning any jvm language technology these days.
This book is not a quick read! But it is clearly written from the perspective of practicing professionals. So it has a lot of helpful tips and suggestions to steer you away from pitfalls. Definitely has my vote.
