3.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Good beginner amp, but it only lasted me 6 months; buy at your own risk 10 de mayo de 2016

TL;DR - This amp works well for BEGINNERS. Don't expect anything mind-boggling though, especially longevity - beware, it can fail on you so be prepared for an RMA if necessary. I recommend you read through the full review anyway.

When I first unboxed this amp, I was fairly impressed. It looked professional and felt sturdy. From the first time I plugged my guitar in, I was impressed by the ease-of-use with the multiple presets and quad channels. All of the presets were /decent/ but nothing spectacular by any means, though a little fine-tuning goes a long way. That being said, cranking the master volume past 1/4 (maybe up to 1/2) won't do you any good; you're just asking for muddy tones. Unfortunately, in my experience, it only lasted 6 months before a major malfunction occurred - all the lights would flicker and it'd constantly reset itself every two minutes.

The Good:
- Plug your guitar in and start playing almost immediately
- Easy to navigate
- Easy to switch from clean to distorted and anything in between
- Great to learn how to shape your tone (to a degree) at the beginner level
- Fun effects to use/learn
- Fairly loud for bedroom use

The Bad:
- Offers no scalability; don't expect to improve your tone too much as your playing improves
- Lasted me only 6 months before a major malfunction (my biggest complaint)
- Master volume crushes your tone past the 1/2 way point

Overall, if you're willing to take the risk/inconvenience of having this amp fail on you within the first year, get this amp. It's really fun and easy to use for a beginner. However, if your budget is a bit higher, I'd advise you look towards a different company OR, if you're feeling up to the challenge, explore the world of digital amp simulation - through an audio interface (for example, any Focusrite Scarlett; maybe the Solo) and an amp simulator (for example, Amplitube).

I bought this because I had played with my friends for a while, and I knew I was going to love it. I don't think you can get a better amp for the price. This amp is PERFECT FOR BEGINNERS AND EVEN INTERMEDIATE players. The people reviewing saying that this amp is better than a tube amp such as an Orange must not have ears, but as I said for the price this thing is amazing. Effects are very good, I play my Epi LP with EMGs through this bad boy and the sound is excellent. I can get everything from a mellow clean tone, to vintage fuzz, to modern heavy metal crunch. If you have never used one, read the manual to learn the full capability and how to save effects, etc. I highly recommend getting the FBV Express foot controller to pair with it if you have the cash.

This amp is great, I have just started playing and the many options of sounds and effects suit my needs perfectly. The only thing about this I would have any complaints about is the low level volume isn't very sensitive so it is touchy keeping the sound down. I love this amp and it is well worth the price being under 200 bucks. I am learning Metal and love all the sounds and effects to totally get your own sound and the website is great to free lessons and sounds and lots more just for buying Line6. I love this amp and sent back the Crate Amp I first bought, because this amp blows away the crate I originally purchased for my starter amp, the sounds you get will have you wanting to practice for hours at a time.

This is my first Line 6 amp and, let me tell you, it's worth every penny in my opinion.
I've owned most of the big name brands over the years...Fender, Crate, Marshall, Orange...and aside from my very first amp and a beloved Fender 60 Reverb/Super 6...this is my favorite!
It has great sound, amazing volume for it's size, and tone-customizing features galore!
I was considering the Spider IV 150 or 120, but was concerned that either of those might be too much for my neighbors. However, now that I'm absolutely sold on Line 6, I've caught myself looking at the SPIDER IV 150HD/SPIDER IV 412 HALFSTACK COMBO!
If you're considering this little amp you won't be disappointed...IT ROCKS!!

Buy a newer version of this amp. Trust me. You're money will go much further than to find one of these used. The new ones are great amplifiers.
