The first half of the book feels like a webinar lecture, and the last half consists of transcribed questions and answers from his experience with elotus webinars. Some of the diagrams are lifted from Deadman's Manual of Acupuncture (which he cites), and some lifted from H. McCann's Practical Atlas (which he doesn't). I would suggest that before you buy this book, you at least have a working knowledge of Tan style acupuncture so that you are able to make sense of the jargon and the approach.
It's very easy to read! I like the setup of the book; he provides a lot of cases and commentary…it's almost like having Brad right there with you, walking you through your thought processes and point selection.
He even throws in pictures with point locations for some key Tung acupuncture points.
Though what I do LOVE about the book is that out of the many many points that we can use, Brad helps narrow down the best, most effective ones, utilizing his own clinical experience in treating hundreds of thousands of patients. You can't fake experience, and it's so nice to have an expert provide us with tips and tools that has made him so successful, so effective, and so great as a practitioner!
Thanks Brad! Your book will be very useful for years to come!!!
