5.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Perfect for journaling, or that touch of class on cream-colored paper. The shading will enamore you to it. 25 de noviembre de 2015

This is my opinion of the Toffee Brown ink:
In my quest to find the perfect purple ink, I stumbled upon this gem. It's a very elegant and warm shade of brown. I inked up my MB 149 that has a very wet medium nib and was astounded by the dynamic look of the lines. To my eye, it has a marked coppery look to it with a large red/orange component, however it is still brown. The shading is amazing, going from a caramel light tone transitioning to a dark coffee/chocolate color. It flows very well, and is on the wet side. I get great performance out of it in all the pens I tried; Pens used: MB 149 (M), MB 146 (EF), Pelikan M1000 (EF), Omas Paragon (EF). Very good flow, cleans easily despite moderate saturation, and does not feather/bleed on most papers used (Rhodia, Clairefontaine, Tomoe River, and standard cheap no-name copy paper. Very happy with this ink and among my favorites next to Lavender Purple, Irish Green, and the Permanent Black.

4.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Great Ink but avoid INKNLEAD 9 de mayo de 2013

Color: Mystery Black Compra verificada
I buy Mont Blanc ink because it does not dry out in my pen. Even if you do not use it daily, it will flow perfectly the next time you reach for it to sign the Magna Carta. Unfortunately, this time when I ordered Mystery Black I got 2 mysteries. Is the Ink really Mont Blanc Ink?

I can't be certain because the MB date seal was broken.

If you are using a Mont Blanc fountain pen to begin with, and take the trouble to seek out their ink, I doubt you will want to do as I did, by failing to choose your ink supplier with equal care. Not only was the Ink shipped by INKNLEAD shipped in a flimsy paper box, - not cardboard, paper,- but it had inadequate tape on it. That's not me saying it's inadequate it's the US Postal Service, which had to add more tape en route.

So buy the Ink, you will like it, especially if you use your Mont Blanc Fountain pen infrequently, but choose your supplier more carefully than I did.

5.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Good Ink, Great Bottle! 22 de mayo de 2016

The ink is good quality ink, but I bought this mainly for the neat bottle. It has the little well in front, that you can fill by tilting the bottle up, so that the entire nib of the fountain pen would dip into it. Most other bottles have a flat bottom, so once the ink is below a certain level, you cannot fill the pen, or you have to tilt the bottle, while trying to fill the pen, which would invite a messy accident. Once the bottle is empty, I will fill it with other ink. This item is made in Austria! Despite being a Mount Blanc product, it is not very expensive. I would buy again for the ink, and especially for the neat bottle!
5.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Lavender purple is a wonderful color! 8 de junio de 2017

I bought a bottle of lavender purple as my first bottle of mont blanc ink and am immensely happy with it. It shades heavily, has a small amount of gold sheen, writes smoothly, dries reasonably quickly, has a ton of personality, and is no less than the color of blueberry pie filling (to steal the quote from Matt of the Pen Habit)

The ink does fall down on copy paper, where it does have pronounced feathering, bleed, and showthrough on a fairly dry fine waterman hemisphere, but on good paper it has great manners.

I also love the box and the bottle this ink comes in. The bottle is heavy glass, shaped very cleverly for filling any pen down to the last few drops, and the cap is heavy, secure, and the fit and finish of the bottle is just excellent. I think I like this bottle more than any other ink I've bought, it's a work of art.

The value is also quite fair, too. 60ml is an above average amount and $20 is right on par with the amazon price of iroshizuku, which only comes in 50ml (with a possibly equally nice bottle)

I think I'm definitely going to be buying more mont blanc colors. Even if it's not a great writer on bad paper, there are other inks that handle the job (for a similar color, I suggest noodlers black swan in australian roses)

A great buy and a great value.

5.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Nice ink. 22 de febrero de 2017

This is beautiful ink, goes on and looks nice on paper. It is not waterproof, though. It is expensive so wait for a sale and keep in mind you're either buying it for your $500 + pen or you just like the way it looks. There are plenty of youtube videos if you need to see samples of the colors. I use this also in cheap pens and it worked very well in my Montblan. I'd recommend it without hesitation. If you need permament that won't smear ink, however, this isn't it. I've used many inks, btw, like Pilot, Vosconti etc ...This isn't the best but it is one of the few to go in a MB (Daimine and Waterman are the only others in this range for quality - color is a different story).
