Sarah-Jane is a lawyer who is moving to another town to get away from her cheating boyfriend and her former BFF with whom he is cheating! Her new home is in the mountains and on the way, she encounters a bad snow storm in which her car gets stuck. While she continues to get colder and colder sitting in her stalled car, she thinks she sees some very strange things…hairy men picking up her car??
Thus, begins the story of Sarah-Jane, Jackson and Leo, her two wolves. The most pronounced part of the story is Sarah-Jane’s stupidity, innocence or lack of common sense, in my mind. Can’t tell you the circumstances without spoilers but she had me yelling at her to put it together, do something! How can a person who finished law school and took the Bar be this irrational?! The love scenes were not erotic (for readers who worry about that) and never M/M blatant other than a few shared kisses. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book.
