5.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas One hell of a knife for such a cheap price. 24 de enero de 2015

Ontario folders are becoming one of my favorite high quality for a low price pocket knives. I bought both styles of blades the tanto at 23 and some change and the clip point for 19 and some change. I get one and my son gets one. For this price range, I really don't see how anyone could find anything negative to say about these knives. The AUS-8 steel is a great budget steel but these knives are only a few dollars more than cheap crappy 440 stainless. They are tight and lockup tight. These are purported to have brass bushings so they shouldn't get loose after flipping open and remain smooth. The scales are nylon and not super heavily checkered, but again that is not a problem for me as I don't plan on chopping through any aircraft fuselages with wet or bloody hands. Again, I think folks need to consider the price range of this knife when they review it as I have seen some crappy knives that cost the same as this. The blade was perfectly contoured and the grind was even and perfectly done on all of the many different angles and tapers that the tanto blade has. And most pleasantly surprising was the fact that the knife came razor shaving sharp out of the box. I tested it both on paper and the hair on my arm...which now has large patches of it missing thanks to the blades razor factory edge. It came with a decent piece of nylon cord attached to the back that I have no idea what I would use for, but at least it didn't look like the normal Chinese soft yarn that I would expect on a knife in this price range. So in short, for the price this is absolutely great and I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever. As long as the price hovers around the 20 dollar mark, I really don't see how you could go wrong with this.

I just received this awesome knife and all I can say is WOW!!! This knife is extremely sharp and smooth as butter on the open and close. The blade is great in shape, size, and quality. For $29 this knife is a crazy good deal!!! I have about 5 other people that are going to order one now.

I just got this in the mail today and after a long day of work it was pleasurable opening up this little box and discover this little gem. I've been playing around with it for about two hours now. Testing its sharpness, its deployment with the thumb stud and its feel in my hand.

First of all, I love the way the little guy looks! And I don't mean little in its size because the blade is near 4 inches long. But onto why I like this knife so much:

• It is very lightweight but still feels like solid in your hand.
• It is sooooooooooo so sooooooooooo very sharp. Sliced right through the paper test!
• The blade looks like stainless steel but idk if it is or not given its super sweet price! I love the look though.
• No play in the blade.

Not to like:

• Can't throw the blade open, it might loosen up over time.

UPDATE: 2017-03-26 this knife keeps an edge for a very long time. Still one of my favorite EDC knives.

Con: Clip will come loose continually if you don't put some thread locker in it right away. I have more than one of these knives and it happens on every one of them.

I think I am in love with this blade. It is weight just right and has a solid G-10 grip strength, even if my palms get sweaty i can still hold this knife perfect. The best part and the reason I bought it in the first place was the size of the blade itself. I am not talking about the mm thickness, i mean the size of the knife itself. The blade is so wide that it looks like a kitchen knife! If you are looking for a blade to use for self defense look no further! due to the size of the blade the puncture wound would be massive. On top of that it has a tanto tip, with a false tanto backside which provides greater stabbing power. But the best part of all is how sharp the blade came out of the box. Without having to sharpen this blade I ran it along the top of my arm and it sliced off all the hair like butter! This is by far my favorite pocket knife that I own.

If I had to give a critique it would only be that the handle should have a deeper lip for the front finger so if you accidentally stab something hard your hand doesn't have as big of a chance of slipping up onto your blade

Purchased this knife as a new edc as I have been carrying a benchmade griptilian for the last year. I wanted to something different and already own 2 other OKC knives but fixed blades. I read a couple of the reviews and thought i had good experience already with them.

Construction: Zytel handle is fine and good enough grip for the way i carry the knife and for my handsize. Has brass washers and has good weight to it. Feels solid and works for the price.

Blade: Came out of the box pretty darn sharp. i was able to cut cardboard in a single stroke. Many of my friends were amazed by the blade and the price.

Although it is made in taiwan, I would say for 25 shipped to my door was a great deal. I have played with striders and ZTs but for now my budget was low so this knife will have to do.

Bottomline: You will be satisfied with the sharpness, weight and overall quality of this blade.
