2.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas It's not without it's issues. 6 de marzo de 2017

(First) - There is nothing special about this one (compared to luminously - which is very similar) what makes Pico twice the price?

(Second) - That little case they throw in is generic and too small for the dolly to fit in.

(Third) - Without any markings to align the wheels...it can be frustrating to get the wheels aligned reasonably. It's not going to roll completely straight, but it's still workable.

(Fourth) - The wheels also have a slight ridge on the circumference of each wheel. Also, a couple of wheels have a small bump (or) tag from the molding process. There were obvious vibrations on the test runs. I ran my hand over the wheels and you can feel imperfections. I put down a neoprene waist band which eliminated the problem, but it will limit the dolly's range of capabilities using the neoprene for a variation of shots.

In the interim, I will rely upon my post-editing when the footage isn't very smooth.

5.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Great skate dolly for those smooth tracking shots, offered at a very reasonable price! 23 de septiembre de 2016

I wanted to get a slider for my action cam but I didn't want to spend a ton of money in the process. This skate dolly was my solution to that problem. In a lot of ways, it's better than a slider, because it's less restrictive, since it can travel much further, it can go in circles and it can even go up walls. As long as the surface it's traveling on is smooth, the video will also be smooth.

In deciding which model to get, I was trying to avoid those that had imperfections in the wheels or didn't tighten securely or had other imperfections that would prevent getting a smooth panning shot. I saw that this dolly was endorsed by CheesyCam, whose product reviews and tutorials I enjoy reading. I also liked the description of the dolly's specs.

I was very pleased with the dolly and its performance. It's very solidly constructed (including the wheels). It rolls smoothly and produces very smooth panning shots, both when used horizontally on the floor and also when used vertically on a wall. It also turns a nice, even circle when you angle the wheels just right. I'm very pleased with the video quality I get using this product.

If I had any criticism, it would only be the lack of click stops for the wheels so that you could set both wheels for exactly the same angle. More expensive models have that feature, but of course, they're much more expensive. I wasn't prepared to spend what it took to get that extra feature, and I find that I don't miss it. It's very easy to set these wheels to get exactly the effect you want.

This is a great, high-quality product and one I enthusiastically recommend.

5.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Awesome dolly for my Canon DSLR 10 de febrero de 2017

This is perfect for me when I need smooth slider shots in areas I can't fit my full-size slider. The wheels are very smooth good rubber and bearings. The metal frame is very sturdy and the nobs to turn the wheels are super easy to turn. When using the Pico Flex to spin around products It's very smooth.

I have only one complaint. I wish they would have included an adapter to change the 1/4 thread to 3/8. Not a big deal because I already owned these adapters but something I wanted to mention for others who might buy it.

4.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Solid, smooth, portable and precision built. 21 de febrero de 2017

This dolly is well built and very solid. Fit and finish is quality. At first one of the wheels just barely touched while all 3 others rolled smoothy. Upon closer inspection, there was a grain of sand or something between the plate and the axle. Once I removed it, all 4 wheels rolled level with no rocking. The tolerances are that tight. Bearings roll smoothy and wheels spin accurately with no wobble. It rolls well on glass. My only wish is that there was a Guage to be able to turn both wheels to an exact angle. Other similar dollies do have measurement markings, but this dolly seemed most solid... of course I have not purchased any others, so I cannot really compare.

It holds my ball mount and Sony a6000 firm and secure, unaffected by its weight or angle. Zero flex.

I would recommend this product. It is very useful in photography and videography, ultra portable, with a sturdy build.

5.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Smooth little dolly. Focus can be a problem for non SLRs. 7 de marzo de 2013

Rock solid little dolly, smooth in-line skate wheels, perfect little case. It works great with a pocket camera shooting video, as long as you only truck (move left and right, perpendicular to the subject) with it, so that the subject remains at a (nearly) constant distance from the camera (or if you go around a subject, again, where it remains at the same distance from the camera). If you actually try to dolly with it (move towards or away from the subject) then you will lose focus. For real SLRs that have some sort of focus tracking, this is not a problem, but it is something you should be aware of, especially since the camera will not always focus on what you expect it to. This is not a shortcoming of the Pico Flex, it's physics getting in the way.
