Speaking of how much you can fit in it.. you have to be careful with that. I wouldn't want to put more than 25lbs on this pack. So you may want to jump a size up (or even to a different series pack) if you don't already have lighter gear. The straps are super comfortable but they would probably start to bite/cut after a while if you pack more than 30lbs of gear in it.
I've only taken it on one 2 Night trip... 16 miles of hiking. Loved it. Fit great, never got me sore, the pack itself sits on a thin metal rail on each side and is suspended away from your back by a mesh backing. This is great because it's super comfortable and I think I will really appreciate it if I do anything in the warmer months. Just a few months ago I took out my Kelty Redwing 50 (before I got this pack, and the reason I got this pack) and I was dying in the afternoon when the weather got up into the 80s. There was just no airflow and my back was sweaty and gross the whole time.
I never had problem with this Osprey. But, then again, as I said... when I bought this pack I also bought a ultralight down quilt and ultralight Therm-a-rest pad. And I've found that you definitely sacrifice comfort for weight a little. One day I will find a harmonious compromise!
MY ONLY GRIPE:
The freaking flap that works as a hood if you take the main hood off to save weight. As far as I can tell it's stitched in and getting it out of the way is kind of a pain in the ass.
