5.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas CTP-C Chain tool pins (2 per pack). Nice replacements. 20 de noviembre de 2016
Por Joe - Publicado en Amazon.com

The bike co-op I volunteer at has 6 of Park's CT-3 chain tools, and due to the heavy use and often unskilled users that use those chain tools over the years, the pins eventually bend or snap, rendering the tool useless.

Fortunately, Park designed the CT-3 (and many other models) with a replacable pin that screws into the handle. The nut on the pin is a 9/32, which isn't a common combination wrench size, but a pair of toothed pliers can also work for securing the pin. Be aware the threads are Nylock'ed, and will require a good amount of force to secure.

It is recommended to give the pin on the chain you are trying to push out a small drop of oil before using a chain tool. This helps a lot, especially on rusted/damaged chains.

This picture shows what purports to be four steel pins for the CT-3. What I received was two silver pins that bent very easily. Tried three different vendors and finally found that the listing is incorrect and that only the two pin version is actually available. Went directly to Park Tool and they were not familiar with this listing (logo?). Wound up buying a different tool.

4.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Good Replacement Tips for Park Chain Breaker Tool 11 de julio de 2011
Por H. Nakayama - Publicado en Amazon.com

I bought a new Park Tool chain breaker. The first day that I had it, one of my boys broke the tip. At first I thought that I would have to buy another new tool, until I looked into the tool on the Park Tool website and discovered that the tips were replaceable. I decided to check to see if the tip were available through Amazon, since I use their Prime shipping service. And sure enough Amazon had them. I gave the tips only 4 stars because it is a great idea that they are replaceable, but we broke one the first time we used the tool.

Why they don't state the quantity in the item description is beyond me. The part #CTP-C had 2 pins per pack when we received it. This despite the title and description reading 'Pin' (as in singular). Looks to be the exact silver colored pin used in the CT-3 tool.
