I purchased this keyboard after really liking my mac pro's keyboard at work. I was also interested in using the touch-pad instead of the mouse for scrolling pages/documents/scripts so I wouldn't have to use the mouse so much. Which it does, but it isn't as seamless or fast as I had imagined. That's not my gripe with this keyboard, though.

The problem with this keyboard is the cruddy quality. The keys do not all feel the same when pressed. The letter keys and space all feel pretty good, but they are loud. Not as loud as say the backspace or arrow keys, though, which feel incredibly loose and are very loud and 'clacky.' The Tab key, like the backspace key, is very finicky about where you hit it. Too far to the left and it just jams up.

The smallish form of the keyboard is great; saves a lot of desk space. Its just heavy enough to make up for the lack of rubber feet or some kind of anti-slip surface on the bottom. I've read in other slim keyboard reviews that they can be warped or bent, but this one sits perfectly flat. The sound of the letters and space bar are not cheap, but a little to loud for me.

If it wasn't half as much as it originally cost to ship it back I would return this keyboard. A lot of the keys outside the main letters just feel loose, and most of the keys (including the letters) are too sensitive to being hit. It gets really frustrating when you hit a key and it just doesn't budge. Hopefully this is just problem with my board.

I got this keyboard to use with my laptop when on business travel because I wanted to be comfortable when using the computer. For the most part, this keyboard meets expectations. A couple of things need to be improved: 1. The tab key sticks frequently and I find myself pressing hard on it to get it to tab and the sometimes it tabs more than I want it to because of the sticking. 2. The keys are not quiet; they are noisy-they're almost as noisy as my terrier when he walks across the floor. If the company would rectify these problems, the keyboard would deserve 5 stars instead of the four I had to give it.

This keyboard is absolutely awful. I find it impossible that anyone who has ever bought it hasn't hated it. It's just incredibly poorly made. The problem is a bit hard to describe but I'll try. Basically the keys are loose, that is, they're not solidly connected to the keyboard. Here's another way to describe it: Look at the capital letter T. Imagine that the "cross" part of the T (that is, the top part) is the key and the bottom part of the T is the piece of plastic connecting the key to the board. That's about how these keys are connected--via a too-thin, unstable connecting piece. Consequently, when you press down on one edge of the key, the opposite edge rises up, like a seesaw. This means that unless you firmly press down directly on the center of the key, there's a chance that your key-press won't be effective. For a fast typist like me, this means that at least once every five-or-so words I'll misspell a word due to an ineffective press. This is especially common with the letters on the top and bottom row, as your fingers naturally strike those at somewhat of an angle (unlike the middle-row keys, which your fingers press directly down upon).

In sum, this keyboard is awful. I bought it because I need a built-in touchpad. I do love the touchpad. It's nice and sensitive, and the scrolling works very well. However, as much as I want a touchpad that works exactly like this one, the pathetic build quality of the keyboard made it necessary to return it.

Been in use for a few weeks now and very responsive. Staff like being able to use touch-pad and number pad in same device. Device is under constant use for numerical time-clock program and checking payroll stubs. Will update if buttons start to wear out over time. Living up to industrial quality label.

3.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Typing Isn't Great 10 de mayo de 2014

I bought this keyboard to keep at my fiance's house. I work from home and when I stay there, his set-up is different than mine and I needed a better option to use a mouse so this seemed like a perfect idea. I read a lot of reviews about this keyboard that says that the keys don't work very well, but I thought people were just being picky. I'm not concerned about noise or other little things, I just want it to work. I have never had a keyboard in all of years that I've used a computer that didn't perform as expected. Until this keyboard. The keyboard keys really are kind of difficult to hit properly when typing, just like other people have stated. After a while, I've gotten pretty used to it, but it's still not great. When I buy a keyboard, i just expect to hit a key and the key to depress and be recognized. That doesn't always happen, If you don't hit the key dead-on, it doesn't always work. The attached mouse works well enough; I'm still having a little trouble getting used to it, but I think that's a user issue.

All-in-all it works, just not great.
