5.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas The best thing since sliced bread for a perfectionist student with no life. 21 de septiembre de 2016

I seriously just love these. If you are in one of those awful science majors where you have to write novels of notes just to understand the material, this is your salvation. I used to use normal pens, but I am such a perfectionist that I would actually tear out the page and start again if I misspelled a word. It's not like I have a ton of free time to be doing this, but it's like an impulse.

Thank goodness I found these. They have revolutionized my note taking experience. I'm also an academic tutor as well as a student and about half of my students rush out to buy these after they see me using them.

Here are some tips for using them:

- Only write on one side of the page. Erasing one side of a page will also erase the other if there is ink on both sides. That's because it's the heat from the friction (Ha! get it? Friction/Frixion?) that makes the ink disappear.

-If you've erased a spot too aggressively, you probably need to wait a second for the paper to cool before you can write again.

-If the pen is full of ink but it appears to be dry and not coming out, a combination of soaking the tip in rubbing alcohol and then rubbing it on a rubbery surface should help loosen things up and get the ink flowing again.

I got the Frixion highlighters and pens too. The mountain doodle is drawn entirely with a combination of Frixion products.

These pens are amazing! They are the best erasable pens I have ever had! The colors are pretty nice as well, I just wish that the black was darker. Besides that they do as they say, and will cover up even your must clumsy mistakes! :) I will add pictures on how the colors look and also how it looks once you've erased. You can see the previous words written but once you rewrite it makes no difference.

5.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Great pens! (Disappointed w/ seller, Premium Japan) 30 de julio de 2014

BUYER BEWARE of Premium Japan as seller. I purchased a pack of pens from them and several of the pens were either used or not entirely filled with ink. They ran out of ink extremely fast.

Normally, I'm not a stickler for this type of thing, but I decided to contact the seller and was rerouted to Amazon. As a Prime purchase, Amazon replied to my request immediately and they truly adhered to their "Fulfilled by Amazon" obligation. Long story short, I am still a happy, dedicated Amazon user who LOVES these pens!

The ink is bright and colorful, the grip is comfortable, and the eraser mechanism works fantastically well. I will purchase pens again, but will actively avoid Premium Japan. Given that this review is a reflection of the product, I vote 5 stars when the product is working as promised. As a seller, Premium Japan would get 1 star.

4.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Great Erasable Pens! 9 de julio de 2016
Por S.P. - Publicado en Amazon.com

Erasable pens have been around since I was a kid, many decades ago, and were very bad to say the least. The ink never erased completely, and always left a shadow of what you wrote on the page; the erasers would chew up the paper you were writing on, and damage it to the point that you had to re-write your report or whatever you were writing, which defeated the purpose of using an erasable pen to begin with. Fast forward to today, and the Pilot FriXion erasable pens have brought the technology to a new level! Now, the ink erases completely, cleanly, with no shadowing. Even better, the eraser does not chew up the paper you are writing on, even after repeated erasing. If you are in need of an erasable pen, the FriXion line from Pilot are second to none, and they come in a variety of colors to suit your fancy as well. Caveat: these pens use Friction (heat) caused by the rubbing of the eraser to render the ink invisible on the page, very high tech stuff. So, if you leave your pen/s in a hot car for example, the gel ink will become clear, and you will think the pen is malfunctioning because it no longer writes, but it is, its just that the ink is now clear, and so whatever you write is now invisible. The remedy is to place the pen in the freezer for about 10 to 15 minutes which will in essence re-activate the ink so to speak, and the pen will write like new again. Because of this unique characteristic of the ink, I would not suggest you use this pen to sign very important documents, legal or otherwise, but instead use a high quality permanent ink pen. Other than that, its great for general use and note taking.

5.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Love these pens BUT BEWARE OF HEAT 12 de enero de 2017

Short version: Awesome pens but DO NOT leave in the heat or in your car for long period of time.

Long Version:
I first bought these pens from a small local store when I was in Japan. I loved these pens because they were pilot, gel, multicoloroed, and earable! I also got a lot of compliments about them as well. HOWEVER I did leave them in my car in the heat for a couple of hours and sadly the ink cleared out. What I mean by this is that they were still able to write the ink just kind of lost it's color and Im assuming it was like this because the ink probably has a different ingredient than the normal pens.
Also the only thing I found different than the ones I bought in Japan and the ones I bought on amazon is the color of the easer and the size of the ink other than that it's great!
